"I wanted to change careers two months ago," Mafan said softly, "Ever since Ayane came back, the memories of the Chikou Project have become vivid. Every time I'm in the lab, I wonder if my work has been aiding some other legitimate yet inhumane experiments. You know their nature, those in lab coats were never good people."
