Horn imagined the Saint eating popsicles in a snowy landscape and suddenly felt like laughing. He chuckled softly for a moment and then looked up to meet the old Priest's gaze.
"There used to be a bachelor living near my church," the old Priest said. "He lost his job, got divorced, and committed suicide. You laughed just now much like he did in his final days."
"I didn't... I..."
Horn smiled weakly and slumped over the plastic table in the fast-food joint, reminiscing about the past. He began talking about unrelated things.
