"Morning, Dexter!"
In the morning when Dexter, with his backpack, entered the classroom and hadn't yet sat down, someone immediately reached out to him in greeting.
"Morning," Dexter replied, then nonchalantly pulled out his homework notebook from his backpack. Suddenly, a bunch of classmates surged toward him, holding their own notebooks and began to rush to copy his work.
Dexter seemed already used to this scene; he put down his backpack and pulled out another notebook before saying,
"Where's mine?"
"Right here!" Hearing Dexter's question, a student who had already started writing suddenly remembered and immediately pulled out a notebook to hand over—it was yesterday's Budha Ali Country language homework.
The classroom was immediately filled with the rustling sounds of papers, but as the copying progressed, the students gradually lost their sense of urgency and began to copy while chatting.
As for copying mistakes… they were more of a blessing.
