"Hiss—"
Under Lirya's control, the tunneling insects stood their ground.
So when the venom rained down, these insects did not dodge but directly faced it with their bodies.
The raindrop-like venom fell on the surface of the tunneling insects.
These insects had hard blue shells, capable of resisting sharp blades and fire. Such shells should logically have high resistance to liquid penetration as well.
But this specially concocted venom was different.
Once it touched the tunneling insect, the venom quickly penetrated the shell, then merged into the body.
Following the insect's bodily structure, the venom would rapidly flow throughout.
The entire process usually took only seconds, and a formidable tunneling insect collapsed in whimpers and struggles, no longer moving.
The venom, turned heavy rain, poured down in sheets.
The tunneling insects on the ground died en masse.
Holding the cross staff, Lirya immediately realized the situation.
