Invigorated by the flames Charlie fed it, the spirit beast grew larger once more. Hailey asked it to transform into a wyvern as well, and the creature obeyed, its form expanding until it matched the size and shape of the electric wyvern. It joined Rubina in flight before shrinking back down into its small feline shape. Perched within Rubina's embrace, it quietly supported her, helping to maintain her mana.
Rubina soared overhead, shielding her creature, Uriel, who continued to unleash Celestial Flare. The fusion of light and fire elemental energy struck both the fireborn creatures and the demons with equal force. Its purifying effect nullified some of the energy-draining properties caused by their mutation crystals, while its brilliance blinded and seared all enemies it judged evil.
Rubina, for her part, continually used fire crystals to fuel Uriel's strength, all while conjuring flaming shields to repel the projectiles flying toward them.
