"We're done talking. Keep him under control and don't let anyone else continue interrogating him."
He walked around the table and stood in front of Nate, "Remember, no one is allowed to interrogate him until I agree!"
Nate vaguely sensed it; Hunter saying "I don't believe Nate is Lance's mole" was all a damn lie. He not only believed it but was quite convinced!
But Hunter was the Director, and Nate had no way to deal with him, which also made him develop another thought.
Hunter couldn't stay.
Nate nodded and stepped aside, "You call the shots, Boss."
Hunter nodded back, glanced at the young man one more time, and then pushed the door open and left.
He would instruct others to come and keep an eye on the young man; he didn't trust Nate.
Nate also knew he was under serious suspicion. He irritably looked at the young man, "What the hell did you tell him?"
The young man chuckled, "Don't worry about what I said. Just see if it works!"
