The spacious room was piled high with money boxes sent from various bars, and the young members of the family sat together quickly sorting through the bills in the boxes.
Lance sat on a sofa to the side, holding a cigar in his hand. He didn't really like cigars because he couldn't inhale them into his lungs, but lately he seemed to find a bit of pleasure in it.
A very strong cigar, smoking it felt like drinking alcohol, with a slight dizzying sensation.
This was due to a large amount of nicotine affecting the brain, causing the dizziness from excessive hormone secretion.
So after a couple of puffs, one had to pause for a moment.
However, this dizzying feeling would gradually lessen with frequent smoking of such cigars.
Humans also build a resistance to nicotine; the more one consumes, the stronger the resistance, and more consumption is needed to attain happiness.
But after stopping consumption for a while, all of this resets.
