Xu Jin first heard about the True Blood of All Spirits inside the Alien Race due to the reason for slaying Yin Lin, as instructed by his teacher, Kongyuan Emperor.
However, at that time, Xu Jin told Kongyuan Emperor that the corpse was mostly damaged.
In order to refine the True Blood of All Spirits, at least the majority of the corpse with the Holy Ancestor's Direct Bloodline must be preserved to possibly refine.
But in reality, Yin Lin's corpse was basically intact.
This is also why Xu Jin removed the Fire Element Rule Dao Skill from the Rule Taoist Skill Combo and placed the Thunder Series Rule Dao Skill at the forefront.
The former too severely affects the gains.
No matter how good the item is, it would be burned to ashes.
As for the latter, if placed at the end of the combo, it would blast you to pieces, leading to the tragedy where victory in the final battle brought no benefit.
