"Driver, hey, driver, could you lend me a phone? I want to make a call."
Realizing that she couldn't wake someone pretending to be asleep, Xia Yinian immediately shifted her target.
"Sorry! Without the young master's instructions, I can't do that," the driver replied flatly.
"Lending me your phone, not your young master's, that's not possible either?" Xia Yinian frowned.
"No," the driver answered, crisp and direct, without any hint of a joke.
Xia Yinian took a deep breath and glanced again at the man with closed eyes.
Who exactly was this person? Not only did he not capture her, but he also got out of the car to save her, so why couldn't he give her a phone to make a call?
The car was still descending the mountain. Xia Yinian wasn't in a hurry to get off yet.
The wind and snow outside were increasing, and she didn't want to be blown off a cliff.
