Half a month later, Gu Cheng could walk around, but his hair and beard had grown out of control by then. Once, he went out and scared two kids, so he rarely went out again. Several times An Yi noticed he wanted to say something but held back, pretending not to see.
Finally, he couldn't help but lower his face, "Can you help me cut my hair and shave? It's covering my eyes, I'm afraid of scaring your daughter again."
An Yi glanced at him, "Are you asking me for a favor?"
Gu Cheng's lips moved slightly, his eyes involuntarily widened. Being very macho, he was clearly displeased with the word 'ask.'
"If you want to cut, cut; why make it sound so unpleasant?"
"Oh, then I don't want to," An Yi huffed, ignored him, and went about her own business, treating his words as if unheard.
This made Gu Cheng very dissatisfied, "Are you getting smart with me now?"
An Yi continued washing clothes, snorting disdainfully.
