"Eldest, what do we do now? Without a body, we can't report back, and we have no idea where that little girl died. Letting them wander around, they could've gone back with us properly, maybe even died together. Now it's messed up, who knows what's down the cliff. Should we go down and have a look?"
The leading man in black shook his head with regret: "Considering the dangers of Snow Wolf Mountain, even if they somehow survive, they'd be eaten by wolves. Moreover, there's a deep pool below, it's unnecessary to waste energy; let's go back and report!"
Once the three subordinates heard this, they said no more and turned away to leave.
Yet, the man in black took a fixed look at a protruding tree below the cliff, pursed his lips, and only uttered a sentence when someone ahead called him.
"Wish you luck." He leaped into the pitch-dark grove, disappearing without a trace.
