A whole day had passed since they decided to look for an island with a doctor to cure Nami while ignoring the Eternal Pose.
'Luckily I haven't passed out again, and this thing keeps growing'
Oliver was in the bathroom checking his right arm and how it had started to turn a black shade through all the veins, almost reaching his hand.
"I hope I can adapt to this soon or hold out until Chopper joins the crew... System, is disease resistance really working?"
[Every talent you obtain is always working, there is no way for it not to work]
"So this disease is just strong. Shit."
He grabbed his jacket, and when he came out of the bathroom, he saw Elegg with several parts on the floor trying to make something.
"What are you doing?" Oliver asked her, confused.
"It's cold out here and the only warm places are the women's room and the kitchen, so I want to make a portable stove," Elegg said, sneezing from the cold.
"Well, you must feel very cold because of..." Oliver said, looking her up and down. "...the clothes you're wearing. You need to put on something warmer."
"I don't have anything warmer than this," Elegg said as she continued.
"How about you go to the kitchen, you'll be better off there," Oliver said.
"For that I would have to go outside, and with that snow, I don't know if I could make it."
Oliver saw she was cold, so he dropped his leather jacket over her head.
"What?" Elegg said, confused.
"Use it in the meantime, it's better than the clothes you're wearing. I'll see what clothes Nami has so you can put something on," Oliver told her.
"Thanks."
When Oliver went down to the women's room, Vivi and Sanji were taking care of Nami, who remained asleep.
"How is she?" Oliver asked.
"It hasn't dropped below 39 degrees," Vivi said as she changed the damp cloth on Nami's forehead.
"I hope we find an island quickly. And we don't even know how to read where we are on the map without Nami-san," Sanji said.
"I agree," Oliver said, going to Nami's closet to start looking through the clothes.
"Hey, what are you doing going through Nami-san's clothes?" Sanji said, stopping Oliver, although he seemed to be trying to peek at something.
"I'm looking for something so Elegg doesn't end up as an ice cube..." Oliver replied, continuing to search.
"For Elegg-chan?! I'll warm her up!"
Sanji was going to go up, but Oliver grabbed him, pushing him back.
"Stay down here and look after Nami and Vivi in case something happens. We are fine upstairs," Oliver told him, forcing him to stay below. "If anything happens to Nami, shout and I'll come down instantly."
Grabbing one of Nami's coats, he went back up, where he saw a blue flash, so upon peering over, he saw Elegg already welding the parts.
'She works fast... The Elegg from the game didn't do that but wanted to install BOOM on every device. Did that change about her?' Oliver thought while watching her work.
"I see you're some kind of inventor," Oliver told her, walking over to her.
"Oh, yes, I've spent my whole life on this," Elegg said, setting the work aside.
"Here. It will serve you better than my jacket," Oliver said, passing her Nami's coat.
"This one is smaller. Your clothes are gigantic on me," Elegg said, showing him how the clothes fit her.
Oliver's clothes were so big on Elegg that her legs could barely be seen, besides the fact that it seemed she couldn't even walk with them on.
"It might be because I'm a little bigger," Oliver said.
"A little bigger~ I would say you are a lot bigger~" Elegg said, looking up at him. "I think I have to step back a little to see your face."
She started to take off the jacket when she noticed Oliver's gaze, so she covered herself again.
"What are you looking at~? Are you trying to peek at something down here~?" Elegg said, looking at him with a smile.
"I'm sorry," Oliver said, turning around. "Wait a minute... You have clothes on under my jacket."
"And there we go," Elegg said with the yellow coat on.
'It stresses me out a bit talking to her. She acts very unpredictably, or it might be because I don't know how she'll act,' Oliver thought, getting his jacket back. "Be careful with that coat."
"What an unnecessary worry, I've never burned my..."
Just then, the entire Going Merry moved abruptly, causing almost everyone to fall over until everything calmed down.
"What was that?" Elegg asked, her head hurting.
"Something tells me we're in trouble," Oliver said.
Outside, in the water, there was a giant metal ship that made the Going Merry look small.
"MAHAHAHA!! ARE YOU SURPRISED BY MY GIGANTIC SUBMARINE ATTACK SHIP, THE BLIKING?!" A voice was heard coming from the ship.
"Damn it!! A pirate ship?!" Usopp shouted upon seeing it.
"Wow," Luffy said.
"Damn, we don't have time right now," Zoro said.
They were aimed at by many weapons from the ship, so they couldn't defend themselves as numerous soldiers boarded the Going Merry.
"We are in trouble," Oliver said, looking out the window.
"Are there that many?" Elegg asked.
"More than can be counted on your hands," Oliver said, thinking of what to do.
"Hey! What is going on out there?!" Sanji shouted.
"W-Wait."
Oliver tried to stop Sanji, but due to all the commotion, he came out of the women's room to go outside, where he saw how everyone was surrounded by numerous soldiers pointing weapons at them.
"Hmm... alright. What's going on?" Sanji asked, smoking a cigarette.
"That ship is attacking us," Luffy answered him.
"I thought so," Sanji said, having several weapons aimed at him.
"What an idiot," Oliver whispered, realizing he also had Sanji outside now.
"What do we do?" Elegg asked him as she climbed on Oliver to see too.
"Wait for an opportunity. Do you have your weapon?"
"I'm never without it," Elegg said with it in hand.
"Perfect. You need to do something..."
Outside again, a large person with a metal jaw had a piece of meat stuck on a dagger, and he began to eat it until he swallowed the meat along with the dagger.
"Hmmm, 4 people. It's impossible that there are only 4 people. Oh well, let me ask you something," the person with the jaw said.
"What the hell? He ate a knife!" Luffy said.
"Blegh! My tongue hurts just looking at it!" Usopp said.
"I want to go to the Drum Kingdom, do you have an Eternal Pose or a Log Pose?" Wapol said, finishing eating the knife.
"No, we've never heard of that place," Sanji replied.
"Hey, if that's all, you can get out of here now," Luffy told him.
"My, don't be in such a hurry. If you don't have one, then I'll take your treasures and the ship," Wapol said.
"What?!" Luffy said.
A soldier saw the door to the storage room, so he opened it a little, and a hand grabbed him by the face and pulled him inside.
"What was that?!" a soldier asked, aiming at the door.
The door broke at the moment the soldier was shot out against other soldiers.
"I think we are starting," Zoro said, grabbing his katana.
"So we fight?" Sanji said.
The fight began, where the first thing Usopp did was hide behind the mast so he wouldn't be hit by any bullets, when Elegg popped out of the hatch with her weapon and started shooting at the soldiers.
"Wapol-sama! These pirates..."
The soldier couldn't finish speaking as Sanji kicked him in the face, knocking him out, while others were defeated by Zoro.
"These guys aren't that strong," Zoro said.
"I guess it wasn't necessary for us to interrupt," Oliver said, stepping out of the storage room.
The soldiers were being brutally defeated, incapable of doing anything, while Wapol took a bite out of the Going Merry.
"Stop!" Luffy shouted.
He ran at Wapol, stretching his arms back, and Wapol took a bite, almost eating Luffy.
"Eh? What are those long things?" Wapol said, not understanding.
"He's going to feel one hell of a hit," Oliver said.
At great speed, he hit Wapol so hard that he sent him flying off the Merry, destroying a small part of the ship and impacting all of Wapol's soldiers.
"Wapol-sama!" the soldiers shouted.
"Oh no! They sent Wapol-sama flying!"
"What do we do?! Wapol-sama can't swim!"
The soldiers quickly returned to their ship to go save Wapol as soon as possible.
'I hope this was faster than the beginning. I don't know if Nami's illness will get worse or not,' Oliver thought, sitting down a bit tired.

I never thought it would be this hard to write a character like Elegg. I'm not even sure if I'm portraying her personality correctly, it's kind of strange. I've seen people portray her as someone who teases the Commander in the game, while others show her as very kind and helpful, among other things.
Do you all think I'm representing her well? Or should she be written differently?
