The man slowly turned his head around, but what he saw made him weak in the knees. The frail looking middle aged man transformed into a giant green monster that looked like it wanted to tear him to shreds. He tried backing up slowly, but his legs wouldn't move.
"M…. M…. Monster"! His heart felt like it would leap out of his chest at any second.
He deeply regretted it. First he picked a fight with a weird guy who couldn't be hurt, and now he pissed off a guy who could turn into a giant green monster. What a phenomenal day he was having, he thought.
Suddenly, an untimely voice ran out.
"Hey, Boss! I got the gun, where's the".... He couldn't finish his sentence as he saw the Hulk towering over his boss.
The moment Hulk saw the gun, he got even angrier and backhanded the tall man, sending him flying into his friend. The two were both knocked unconscious, and probably had more than a few bones broken.
The Hulk let out a loud roar, scaring the few remaining people into fleeing. Then, he started to destroy everything around him…. Tables, chairs and even the walls, as if to vent his anger.

"Wait…. What the hell is that? Did that man just transform into a giant green monster"?
"It looks like the Monster with the Military during the 'Unclean Incident'. But, that one was a lot uglier".
"Didn't this Monster and the other one cause a ruckus in Harlem a while back"?
"Yeah, you're right. I feel bad for the owner now, I hope his insurance covers this".
"I'm more curious about his pants! What are they made of"?
SHIELD Headquarters.
The Agents stared wide-eyed at the screen. Most of them were very familiar with the Hulk, but only few knew of its true origins. Dr Bruce Banner, a brilliant scientist with 7 PhDs turned into this Monster due to an accident with Gamma Radiation. The Hulk was known to get stronger and more destructive the angrier he got. So, this is possibly the worst place he could've been.
"Banner? Why is he even here"? Nick Fury stared at the Light Curtain. "Wait…. Don't tell me…. Is Hulk going to pick a fight with this Cain"?
"Director…." Agent Hill stepped forward. "According to Banner's files, the Hulk has the IQ of a child throwing a temper tantrum. If he attacks Cain, and the attacks rebound, he might get even angrier and increase his assaults. This will cause a lot of damage to the surroundings, and there's still people around the area".
Fury thought for a moment and then replied. "Get a team to evacuate the area of any civilians, and another to monitor the situation from a distance". He wanted to see how this match up would go. How far could Cain's abilities go, and if the Foundation showed up, how would they deal with an angry Hulk?
"Understood sir". Agent Hill replied and left the room.
Fury turned his attention back on the Light Curtain.
...
"Roarrrrrr"!
The Hulk continued on his rampage, destroying everything around him, until the whole Bar collapsed. He grabbed some of the debris and threw them towards the parked cars outside.
Some people were recording this from afar, but the moment they saw hulk throwing debris from the Bar randomly, they ran for their lives, afraid to get crushed by the falling objects.

"What the hell is this Monster? It's going to crush us! Run, everyone"!
"Ahh! Help! There's a Monster here"!
"Mom! Mom"!
"I'm right here honey, grab my hand"!
Chaos erupted on the streets. People ran in all directions, fear stricken on their faces.

As the Hulk continued to rampage, he suddenly stopped and looked in one direction. Among the debris inside the Bar, a human stood still, seemingly unharmed. Hulk was a bit confused, but he immediately shook it off and roared at this tiny human, hoping to intimidate him into fleeing.
Cain spoke up in a polite tone. "Sir, I'm not sure why you're so angry…." He walked closer to the Hulk. "But I think you've done enough damage. Please refrain from any more acts of violence".
Hulk looked at him, bewildered. Then he got angry. "Hulk don't like puny man, puny man sound like Banner"!
He tried to smack Cain with his backhand, but his hand didn't even reach Cain when he felt his own attack hit him across his face. He was confused only for a moment but his anger rewrote his thoughts.
He threw a punch at Cain, thinking… if this human could hit him, then surely he could take his punch. But unsurprisingly, his attack was rebounded again, and Hulk felt the same punch he just threw hit him across his face again. He roared in frustration, his anger simmering.
Meanwhile…. Cain clutched his face in pain. The last time he was hit this hard was when he saw his brother.
As he was about to reminisce, he was interrupted with another punch from the Hulk. This time the attack had more force in it, so when it rebounded, the Hulk was launched a few feet away.
When he got back up, he was more confused than angry. He couldn't figure out how this human kept on attacking him. But the Hulk was one track minded, and he's answer to everything was smash.
"Roarrrr"! "Hulk smash puny man"!
He jumped in the air, with both his fists balled up, intending to smash him into the ground. However, just before he could, he felt a huge force from above as he crashed on the ground.
"Ahhh"!
"It hurts"!
Both Hulk and Cain crouched on the ground, holding their heads in pain.

"Pffff! Hahahaha! This is too funny! I was expecting a serious showdown".
"Hahaha! I didn't expect this Monster to speak, Although it sounds a bit too childish".
"Oh man! Cain is quite miserable, isn't he? He doesn't get damaged from the attacks, but he feels all the pain".
"Yeah. I definitely wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that Monster's punches".
"It's like an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object".

SHIELD Headquarters.
The Agents couldn't suppress their smiles. Who would have thought that the terrifying Hulk would be crouched on the ground, holding his head in pain like a scolded brat.
Nick fury on the other hand was in deep thought. Cain could be a very useful asset, but attempting to contain him could cause problems with the Foundation. He wasn't sure how capable they were, but judging from all the SCP's they've managed to contain, and the ones that haven't been shown yet, they are probably a lot more capable than SHIELD.
It would be unwise to start a conflict with an unknown organization that may have access to equally unknown anomalies.

Back on the Light Curtain.
The Hulk recovered immediately, then threw an angry glare at Cain. He couldn't understand how this tiny human could harm him without even moving. But that didn't matter, he's anger was rising, and he only cared about smashing this annoying human.
He's eyes glowed green with power as he threw a flurry of punches at Cain. But every one of those punches were reflected back at the Hulk. Though he felt the pain from his attacks reflected back at him, the Hulk continued his attacks, his body adapting to the damage as it grew more durable.
"Roaaar"!
Finally, having had enough, he threw his strongest punch yet, putting all his strength behind it.
"Boom"!
"Crash"!
But the second he did, his body flew backwards again. This time, he flew at least a hundred meters back, knocking down several buildings along the way.
...
New York, Military Base.
"This Cain has such an incredible ability"! General Ross stared at the Light Curtain in interest. In his mind, the Hulk was the pinnacle of what humans could achieve with science, but this Cain's ability was far more enticing. "Perhaps, we should capture this Cain instead". He voiced his thoughts out loud, but the officer next to him shivered involuntarily.
"Sir…. With all due respect, that would probably cause a conflict with the Foundation. And given how they can control some of these anomalies, it would be unwise to test their limits". The officer quickly persuaded.
"Yes, I suppose you're right. We'll focus on the Hulk. Capture him when he's at his weakest". Ross decided
The officer breathed a sigh of relief. He really didn't want to conflict with the Foundation. What if they sent SCP 096 at them? Luckily, the General listened to reason for once.

On the Light Curtain.
Hulk rose from the rubble. He's face and body marked with bruises and cuts that healed instantly. He's eyes glowed even more intensely, and he's body grew in size, gaining even more muscle mass. He stared at Cain, a little hesitant. But his instincts roared at him to attack.
He rushed towards Cain again, his fist balled up, intending to throw an even stronger punch than before. However, the results were the same, Hulk was sent flying back even further.
"Roarrrr"!!
Hulk got up, shaking the debris off himself. He took a deep breath, and then suddenly brought his hands together in a clapping motion.
"Hulk! Smash"!
The shockwave traveled over a hundred meters, but before it could reach Cain, the attack was reflected back at the Hulk, sending him flying once more.

Stark Mansion.
Colonel Rhodes looked surprised as he asked. "Where the hell did General Ross even find this monster"?
Tony replied. "According to my research, this Monster is a scientist name Bruce Banner. He worked with Ross on a Super Soldier project, until an accident happened. And now, he turns into a Monster and loses control of himself".
Rhodes was a little surprised. He knew the government wanted to recreate the Super Soldier serum, but this Monster is a little too strong…. Isn't he?

"Boooom"!
"Craaash"!
The Hulk was thrown back again, crashing into more buildings. He got up, dazed and confused. This time he didn't attack and only stared at Cain's direction.
Meanwhile, Cain was curled up on the ground, he's face bore a painful expression. But he had no injury on him at all.
Hulk looked confused and angry. Why was this human not hurt when he's been attacking him with all his strength? He roared in frustration, hammering the ground beneath him, as if he was a child throwing a temper tantrum.
....
This scene bewildered those watching the Light Curtain, as they didn't expect the Hulk to act this way.
"Hahahaha! Is this monster acting up? He's like a giant green toddler"!
"This Cain's ability is really cool! Even with the pain, I still wish I had this kind of power"!
"If I were this monster, I would be depressed too! He even grew bigger and stronger, but it's no use".
"Poor thing…. He needs a hug"!
"You're more than welcome to give him one".
"This Hulk is a bit similar to that SCP 682 right"?
"Yeah! I wonder who'd win in a fight! The Hulk versus SCP 682"!

Back on the Light Curtain.
The Hulk had enough. He grabbed a large piece of a fallen building, intending to throw it towards Cain. However, before he could, a group of Agents carrying a large box blocked his path. They were Foundation Agents.
Hulk didn't care and wanted to ignore these Agents. But suddenly, the box opened up, and a dozen or more puppies came out of it. Hulk was momentarily stunned. He dropped the debris and stared at these tiny creatures.
The puppies ran towards him and started licking and petting themselves on him. Hulk was surprised, but a genuine smile appeared on his face.
"Hahaha"! "Hulk like puppies"!
He picked up one of the puppies as it licked his face. "Hahaha! Puppies like Hulk"!
Gradually, his sized decreased, and he slowly turned back to Banner, who was still laughing and holding onto the puppy with care.
The Foundation Agents approached Cain who was happy to see them. He followed them onto the truck as they drove away, and the Light Curtain went dim.
