Now that he learned it on his own—well, not bad at all.

Gardevoir seemed to have leveled up too, now at Level 49.
So by this progress, Hikaru first equipped Drain to Greninja.
Since Greninja had been stuck at Level 49 for a while, it would likely reach master level soon.
Once that happened, he would pass Drain to Gardevoir.
And lastly—Tyranitar.
Once Hikaru announced that he would personally oversee everyone's training for the month,
All his Pokémon cheered enthusiastically.
And so, the month-long special training began.
For Gardevoir, it was still about developing mental strength, which meant focused meditation.
These days,
Gardevoir had been instructing the younger Pokémon and tending to the Dratini egg,
It had spent a lot of its meditation time, which explained why its progress lagged behind Charizard and Greninja.
Now that Hikaru was involved, Gardevoir no longer had to worry about those things.
As for Greninja—
It was training the skill Hikaru had renamed Draw Slash, and honing its elemental move combinations.
With its Protean ability, along with ice- and electric-type moves,
Greninja had a major advantage in elemental versatility.
So Hikaru wanted it to master a few more types.
And Charizard...
Its current job was to stabilize its newly elevated power level and master Burn Up.
Thus,
Outside the daily necessities of unlocking traits, refreshing the Trait Shop, storytelling, and eating,
Hikaru's main job was staying inside the training house.
Watching over Bulbasaur and Gible.
Occasionally heading out to purchase rare items for energy cube production and body-enhancing solutions.
With such focused progress,
Time passed like flowing water.
Everyone's strength steadily rose.
November 8th — Greninja officially became a master-level Pokémon.
That same day, Tyranitar reached Level 45, Bulbasaur Level 35, Gible Level 25.
November 18th — Gardevoir reached master level.
Same day, Latias recovered to Level 56, Bulbasaur reached Level 36.
November 22nd — Gible reached Level 27.
November 25th — Gible Level 28, Bulbasaur Level 37.
November 26th —
The Dragon Pool on Dragon Island postponed its opening—apparently a new pool was being added.
Hikaru took the entire team for a soak.
Latias recovered to Level 58…
Gible jumped to Level 30, Charizard reached Level 51.
In just a month, Gible had risen like a rocket!
As for Tyranitar—still not evolved...
November 28th —
The Trait Shop refreshed with another set of Bone Spirit Cold Fire.
That allowed Charizard to jump straight to Level 52.
One month's time brought not only a leap in strength,
But also a sharp increase in Trait Coins.
Daily trait income combined with story bonuses,
Plus leftover coins from before—it all totaled up to 12,000.
And among all the newly acquired traits, one stood out:
[Blue Trait (Glutton King) — When consuming food, slightly boosts one random stat.]
This trait…
Was quite similar to the earlier Nutrition Supply Hub.
But the difference was—this boost was permanent.
And affected a single attribute.
After some experimentation, Hikaru figured out how it worked.
Feeding different types of food increased different stats.
Spicy → Special Attack
Sweet → HP
Sour → Speed
...
Not gonna lie, this setup was pretty neat. Later on, if a Pokémon lacked a certain stat, he could tailor their diet accordingly.
Even if the boost per meal was small,
It added up over time and made a meaningful difference.
After some thought, Hikaru used another recently earned Blue Trait Copy to duplicate Glutton King, and chose not to fuse them.
Now, Hikaru had two Glutton Kings.
He temporarily gave one to Gardevoir—who happened to love sweets.
Combined with HP Energy Cubes, her stamina would be rock-solid~
The other went to Charizard.
Charizard was aiming to become an all-rounder, but its base physical attack was only 84, and so far, the Trait Shop hadn't given out any physical-attack cubes.
So Hikaru figured—it'd just have to eat its way to power.
Bitter food = Physical Attack gain...
And then—
At the end of the month—Dratini hatched!
November 28th.
To celebrate the arrival of this little life, Hikaru even got his first haircut in a month.
After all, it's important to look sharp when meeting someone new!
So,
Under everyone's watchful eyes,
The eggshell cracked bit by bit.
From the faint white glow emerged a small blue-white dragon, its eyes squinted shut, with wing-like ear fins.
Truthfully, when he saw Dratini, Hikaru breathed a sigh of relief.
Thankfully—it wasn't shiny.
A shiny Dratini was still fine, but that green Dragonite...
Was just too hard to look at.
Still covered in egg goo, Dratini's skin looked a little sticky.
Hikaru reached out to wipe it off—but as Dratini opened its eyes and saw the strong auras of the Pokémon crowding around...
Its tiny body tensed up, and it cried out nervously, "Mmm... Mmm..."
And took off into the sky.
"Huh?"
To the freshly hatched Dratini, these towering, powerful Pokémon looked terrifying.
But soon, it sensed the familiar warmth it remembered from inside the egg.
That "human" below was waving at it helplessly. "Alright, alright... you guys are crowding too close, you scared the little one."
"Char... Char…"
"Ku-kwa…"
Greninja and Charizard, the two big brutes, stepped back first.
Charizard even scratched its head in embarrassment.
The rest of the Pokémon obediently backed away.
Only Gible still seemed excited, trying to leap and catch the floating Dratini—
Only to be shut down by a single glare from Gardevoir.
Finally, Hikaru smiled warmly, holding out his hand to Dratini.
"Come here, little one."
