We chatted a little longer when suddenly, a fit guy with long, vibrant pink hair, matching eyes, and shimmering light pink wings swooped down from the sky and touched down at the edge of the property. His hair was tousled and blown by the wind, and he wore a big, excited grin on his face.
"Hi there, new resident! You are Perla, yes?"
"I am," I said with confusion on my face.
"I just came from the elders' office, and I've got some fantastic news for you all! Your occupancy has been approved, and your mate, Titus, is wrapping up the paperwork right now! You can start moving in whenever you're ready! He wanted me to share this with you because he really wants you to feel as comfortable as possible. What a great find he is! An upstanding male, for sure, and I meet new beastkin all the time!" Jett exclaimed.
I couldn't help but smile. "I feel fortunate to have him as my mate."
