The gang put themselves together after the fight and started heading to the motel to spend the night. Before they left, Jay and Zeke buried the lycan to prevent questions from the townspeople and their police. It was a long walk to the motel Jay had picked out, it was the only functioning one in the deserted town at the moment.
"Is everyone okay?" Josh asked.
"Yeah, we're in over our heads with no way to get home. I think we're doing just great" Jay responded, the sarcasm he implied was very obvious in his tone.
"Jayson. stop acting like this is his fault. You lost the talismans" Zeke voiced, moving ahead of them.
"You really want to do this now, Mr. Ezekiel the clown?" Jay raised his voice, holding Zeke by the shoulder.
"let go of me. Let go of me this instant" Zeke said in a passive aggressive tone.
"You boys always get along this well? I can't say I'm not impressed" Lily stated, grinning as she walked beside Ronnie.
