I pondered over my strange experiences, maybe they just were dreams. There were a lot of things I didn't yet understand about the world I lived in.
I managed to avoid Lux for a few days. But once Tykin had settled as being second in command the whole community settled into grieving. No one here seemed to wear black instead they wore various colours of blue.
I had found a perfect blue dress that lacked the frills of some of the others. It went all the way down to my ankles and had scratchy fabric. I had almost hoped Lis would insist on us wearing healers clothes but Lis even wore her blue frock to work.
One day, after some of the grief had died down I found myself wandering home after a quiet day in the infirmary.
"Iz!" I heard him call.
I turned around to see Lux. He had completely changed his look, now he wore robes decorated with gold. The sleeves reached nearly to his hands and he carried his staff with its purple light blazing in its centre like a tiny sun.
