"You agreed," he protested, and she stood, holding a cheeky, evil smile.
"Maybe don't trust too easily next time. Makes you quite easy to fool, you know." Zaffree said, moving to the lab in satisfaction.
She had learned his secrets and even managed to keep hers.
It was an absolute win, but she had not taken three steps when she felt a hand grab her wrist and yank her back.
"You!" she shouted, her hands instantly shifting back into tentacles that made Ryuk's grip slip.
The instant she was released, the tentacles coiled like whips, lashing for his face, but he dodged them at the last second, grabbed onto them, and pulled hard.
Zaffree was sent flying straight toward him, and he caught her neck, twisting her upside down.
