The sound of the winds gusted through the battlefield, blood scattered through every corner as the ground was filled with countless dead bodies of fallen soldiers, but despite it all, there was one person who was still standing, wearing a commander attire with the Sun God emblem pinned on his chest, over his heart, he was just standing there looming over the enemies in front of him, just from a glance, it was clear he was outnumbered, and yet no trace of fear showed upon his face, his gaze never wavering.
He hurled himself forward, with magic surging through him, he kept pressing on even when his body was filled with scars that carved over his body and his blood dripping onto the ground beneath him, yet somehow he did not falter, step by step, slowly but surely he forced his way through the enemies forces, craving a path towards the sacrificial ritual.
When he finally reached it, It was such a horrid sight, a giant circle of blood can be seen on the ground with dead bodies scattered all through it, the dead bodies of innocent commoners, of fallen soldiers, and even of their own allies. He made his way through the enemies that had surrounded him, his legs felt weak, he can feel the impact of the blows he had endured, it's starting to get onto him in a bad way, and yet he still kept going until he was close enough to the circle of blood on the ground and then he fell onto his knees.
The enemies, who thought he had lost, charged immediately to him, but with a subtle smirk, he suddenly forced himself to stand up and with a voice that was already cracking, he yelled.
"ATTACK!!!..."

"My Chosen Beloved", that was the name of the most popular dating simulator game in South Korea. It was especially loved among girls, largely due to its cast of handsome princes the love interests. The most popular prince is The Crown Prince of The Moon God Palace, Vendrick Vernon. He was described as having medium length dark navy blue hair with deep violet eyes. Following close behind, the second most popular prince is The Crown Prince of The Sun God Palace, Leon Zennor, known for his short blond hair with matching diamond-like blue eyes. There are also two more Crown Princes in the main story, The Crown Prince of The Nature God Palace and The Crown of The Seasons God Palace, they were the standard characters, they are still beloved by girls but comparing them to Leon or Vendrick would not be fair. And then there was The Young Duke of The Star Duchy. Oliver Eldridge, interestingly unlike the others he wasn't a Crown Prince, no one really ones why the developers put him as one of the love interests, but he isn't really well liked by the fandom of the game, and his personality didn't help either, many players found him very irritating, as a result, he was ranked the least favorite love interest.
Now, there is a main character of the game, she was often describe as beautiful, sweet, innocent and gentle girl named Isabella Lancaster, the girls got to play as Isabella and pick one of the five possible love interest. Isabella was describe to have long brown hair with emerald green eyes. In the game, the five boys all fall in love with Isabella and tried to conjure her heart, we as player can chose to develop a relationship with one of the boys and ending with us, either getting married to them and live happily ever after, dying a horrible death, or living a terrible life as peasant girl.

Choi Soojung, was one of the girls that loved the game, she has played the game more than 10 times and has unlocked almost all possible endings for Isabella, from living a happily ever after, dying so many times and living miserably as a peasant girl. Her brother Choi Seojun has gotten bored seeing his little sister play the same so many times, but he has to admit that the story of the game is quite well develop, even though there were a few plot holes in the story. Choi Soojung's favorite character is obviously is Vendrick, followed by Leon as her second favorite, which is pretty predictable. But funny enough her brother, Choi Seojun also has some favorite characters, with Leon as his own favorite character, followed by Oliver as his second favorite character, which is quite unique since Oliver is usually the most least favorite among the fans of that game.
While watching his sister play that game again, Choi Seojun was called by their mother, who was working, their mother told him to get some groceries at the market because she would be home late and was hoping Choi Seojun could cook for dinner instead. Choi Seojun agreed and ended the call, then started to get ready to go to the grocery store.
"Where are you going Oppa?"
Choi Soojung asked her brother as she took her focus from the laptop screen. She was curious why her brother was suddenly dressing up.
"Mom told me to get some groceries and cook something since she's going arrive late today."
Choi Seojun answered his sister, while getting ready. Putting on a coat and boots since it has started snowing outside, it's not surprising it was December 3rd 2026 after all.
"Oh, okay. Be safe!"
Choi Soojung said as she looked back at the monitor, continuing playing her game. Choi Seojun hummed as he walked out the house.

After getting some groceries at the market, Choi Seojun then started to walk back home at the side of the road. On the contrary, there was a bus driver who was home late because of the tight traffic, when he finally got out of the traffic, the bus driver started to speed up a bit so he could arrive home faster, while knowing the road was slippery because of the snow on top of it. The lights were also dim that night. So, the view of the road was pretty limited.
Choi Seojun was walking home, when suddenly a bright light was seen on the road, the bus has lost control because of the slippery road and bus driver can't pump the breaks because the breaks suddenly broke.
An old man was crossing the road the road when the bus almost ran into him with speed but the old man was saved by Choi Seojun on the last minute, resulting with Choi Seojun himself got hit by the bus. The bus crashed onto the side of the road because the driver turned the steering wheel as soon as he realized he hit someone.
Choi Seojun was laying on his blood, his body felt numb, it was getting harder to breathe. He could see some figures running towards him and old man voice that was telling him to stay awake, Choi Seojun smiled knowing he had successfully rescued the old man, he also apologized to his little sister at their home because he can't come home anymore, he was hoping she would forgive her idiotic brother. Choi Seojun also wanted to laugh remembering that his sister told him to be safe, he just hopes that his little sister and Mother would be okay.
As Choi Seojun remembered his family in his final moments, he felt his eyes getting heavier, them he heard a voice, a soft and soothing voice talking to him.
("I'm sorry, little one, it's seems you also lost your life in this one. How unfortunate of you...")
("But, that's okay. Because I will give you another chance, little human.")
The mysterious voice whispered softly onto the cold breeze of the darkness that was consuming him, when he closed his eyes fully. Right at the darkness, a flicker of light at the distance and the light got brighter till it completely covered his vision.
