Yu Bing run away after the fruit flies are attacking Wang Cao. They keep attacking his mouth and he scream. Yu Bing run away laughing and watch the Prince's men trying to swath the flies away. She hide behind a pillar and look at him. She cover her mouth and see a few of the Yamen guards are amused at the sight. After awhile, she quietly walk out of the Yamen. She see the strangers who had followed them from the warehouse the other day. They look away when she stare at them. Her face have changed into another men's so they won't know who she is really. She continue to walk and at the back alley she morph into a cat. Again she walks on the tiles and look at the men of Wang Cao. She quietly climb up the window into the opera house. Inside, she morph back to the princess and look around. Seems like no one have enter the room. Until she smell a stench she turn around and throw a punch. The person doge fast and leap back. He laugh and look at her.
"I don't like your new look. I always prefer my fox lady."
She run to him and hug him. He pat her head gently. He smells bad but who cares when she haven't seen him for a long time. Nothing else matters.
"You miss me? I run back to the snowy land and it's crazy there. I have never seen so many animals and one human cage up in a cave."
"I have them all send there as there is no one here that is able to take care of them."
"Why did you copy her face?"
She lead him to sit down and tell him the story. As he listen he begin to feel frustration and he look at Hu Li.
"Quit this nonsense and return to snowy land now. It is not worth your time to do this. Let the humans do what they are fated to do. We are just witness to their choice they are making..."
"Hei ... if we don't intervene how many of those innocent men are going to die? How many children won't be growing up?"
"These are not our concerns."
"Then what is our concerns? What are we created for?"
"Hu LI!"
At that moment, there is a soft knock on the door. A maid asked if everything is fine inside and can she enter. Hu Li look at Hei.
"Quick, change into a cat."
"Of all animals..."
With him rolling his eye, he morph into a small black cat. She pick up the cat and allow the maid to enter the room. Outside the sound of the opera is still ongoing and the guest are all remain in their room to enjoy the song of sorrow. The maid is surprise to see a little cat in the arms of her Princess.
"Your highness, aren't you allergic to cats?"
"Am i? I not sure... this little one creep in from the window and sit beside me. This little one stare at me with its big eyes and remain quiet and obedience. I think, i will bring this little one back with me."
The maid look at her and wonder what happen to those 'i hate cats' princess. Suddenly her princess now can tolerate cats. Hu Li throughout the song carry the little cat with her. While Hei sigh and look at Hu Li. It can consider a blessing when he is going to live with her for awhile.
Back in the palace, she have the little cat bath and feed well enough. The rats had a shock in the night when Hei morph back to his original self. They run and hide under the bed. Hu Li ensure them that he is a good beast that will not attack them.
"Yeah you guys are too small for my stomach not enough to feed me."
He laugh to show his long fangs and he look at Hu Li who is looking through the wardrobe for clothes suitable for him. Hei is standing in the center of the room, naked. His ripping muscles are alike Hai's body. However his fair skin set them apart. His dark diamonds long hair flows around him. His long nails like craw are dark reddish as if they are bleeding. The hairs on the other body parts are glitter like his hair. He walk near to Hu Li and stop her from searching for clothes.
"Doesn't matter i wear clothes or not. I was born without clothes."
"Don't be silly. We need to wear clothes to look like ..."
"Them... I am tired of them. Those two legged creatures. They can't even help themselves and yet they pray to ask the divine for help."
"That's why we are here... to help."
He pull her nearer to him and circle his arms around her waist.
"There is so much we can do, the rest is up to them."
The rats who are under the bed watch them. Feeling embarrassing they retreat deeper. While outside the owl who was sitting at the far end turn the head to look at the fireball coming in a distance. It is not going to be a peaceful night.
Fei landed outside the courtyard as usual in his glamour style. He tidy his garment and look at the wild orchid in his hand. He suddenly look at the door that is closed. Although his nose is not sharp like a dog, he know that smell since the day of their birth. Feeling disappointed he clear his throat before he can say anything, inside the bedroom, there are some struggling sounds that is getting louder. In the end when the door is open, Hei is running out with just a pants that looks almost going to drop. While behind Hu Li is holding a top for him.
"Catch him! Get him to wear the shirt!"
"Stop it! I don't want new clothes!"
Fei watch the two chasing around the garden. He watch them going round and round . He suddenly laugh and they stop. The owl blink his eyes for a few times and wonder why are the masters so strange.
