Downstairs, David sat on the patio with his phone in hand. He hadn't eaten anything yet. The message from Fabio still stared back at him from the screen.
- Get the men ready... I'll be there in two hours.
His thumb hovered over the screen, debating what to do. He could reply with something vague. Or pretend the message never came.
But that wouldn't change the fact that Fabio would show up... ready to move forward with whatever plan he'd been hiding.
He wished he had an idea. What exactly is the plan that made him order his shadow guards to follow Eduardo to the vacation house?
David stood up and walked to the side garden. No one was around. He took out the USB and stared at it. The footage inside could ruin Fabio. Fabio, on the other hand, has something that could ruin him. If he releases this video even under a false name, he will always be able to find out that David was the perpetrator.
