Over the weekend, Shen Weiyi asked Qin Zhen out for dinner.
Last time during the engagement party, although she had noticed some issues between her and Shen Jingqi, Shen Weiyi had been too busy to ask.
"What's the situation with you and Shen Jingqi? Did you two have an argument?" As soon as they met, Shen Weiyi went straight to the point.
Qin Zhen's face looked worse than it had two days prior, visibly not in a good state.
Upon hearing this, she pursed her lips and said, "I want to go abroad."
Shen Weiyi immediately understood where the issue lay, "He doesn't agree with you going?" That guy clings so tightly; with at least a year abroad, it's understandable he wouldn't want her to go.
Qin Zhen forced a smile, and her voice carried a bitter note, "He thinks I don't care about him, don't care about our relationship. But I think it's a great opportunity, one I don't want to give up."
