The aunt explained, "Tuantuan didn't say where he was feeling unwell."
"I first noticed because Tuantuan should have woken up after an hour of nap, and when I saw it was about time, I went to check on him in the room. That's when I discovered his little face had turned red!"
"That's when I realized he had a fever."
"I'm sorry, I should have been more attentive," the aunt said regretfully.
"It's hard for children to articulate when they're feeling unwell," Yanchuan empathized deeply, as if he could feel how uncomfortable Tuantuan was at that moment.
Yanchuan sat by the bed, reached out to hold Tuantuan in his arms, and took his temperature again; it had reached thirty-nine degrees.
He asked Tuantuan again where he felt unwell, but Tuantuan just shook his head and weakly said, "Dad, I want to sleep."
"Then sleep." Yanchuan said tenderly as he held Tuantuan, gently patting him.
