Time flew by, and before we knew it, Jiang Yuan and Xu Jinyan were facing the first major examination of their lives.
The middle school exams.
Stepping off the car, Xu Jinyan looked at Jiang Yuan and said, "My brother didn't come back for your exam, are you disappointed?"
Jiang Yuan replied, "I'm not a child, I don't need someone to accompany me for the exam."
Although she felt a slight regret that Brother Yan didn't come back, she couldn't really say she was disappointed. After all, Brother Yan was so busy he didn't even have time to come back during the winter and summer vacations, how could he possibly make a special trip back for her middle school exams?
"Why didn't you refuse when my parents said they wanted to see us off to the exam?" Xu Jinyan glanced at Lin Wan, who was getting out of the car, and couldn't help but twitch the corner of his eye. Her mom dressed so formally, she didn't look like she was there to drop them off at the exam but to attend a party.
