"Lord, where are we headed next?" Watching Sulic laugh in anger, Artel felt his heart flutter with anxiety. But standing around in a daze wasn't an option, so he spoke up to change the subject.
Still, deep down, he couldn't help but admire how the merchants of Hope Town had tricked their own Lord out of his money.
At least, very few Humans could get undeserved money from their stingy Lord.
He thought, sooner or later their territory would have to battle Hope Town, and whatever was lost would be taken back. His Lord should be able to console himself.
All he needed now was for the Lord not to take his anger out on him.
Sulic snapped back to reality at Artel's words, put away the eye-catching electric vehicle, and chuckled lightly, "Hope Town is really interesting, let's take a stroll and look around."
"Yes," Artel answered, quietly standing behind Sulic.
But saying they'd wander, Sulic headed straight for the South Gate's city gate.
