As the meeting carried on, Morrison and his group had already started wandering around Hope Village, ready to explore this territory from their own perspective.
But just as they stepped out of the tavern, they sensed something had changed in the territory.
The layout was clearly the same, but it somehow felt different.
"There are more buildings! Yesterday there was an empty lot behind those shops, but today several more storefronts have popped up." said one sharp-eyed companion next to Morrison.
Morrison listened and glanced over, and sure enough, he noticed the extra row of shops.
He'd been a bit curious about the avenue between the tavern and commercial street, but now, seeing the newly filled shops, he realized the whole setup was obviously meant for tavern guests.
Once these shops get tenants, visitors leaving the tavern will be greeted by a storefront, and they'll almost certainly stroll around for a bit.
This Lord really has a knack for business.
