Yun Juncai was lining up in the crowd to register their identities, with two little kids in tow. They'd left Yuxi Village with him, and after arriving at Hope Village, the two stuck to him like glue. He couldn't bring himself to leave them, so he brought them along himself.
"What are your names?" Yun Juncai asked them gently while they waited in line.
"Xiao Jia, Xiao'an." The two blinked and responded.
"What's your surname?"
All Yun Juncai got in return were blank, innocent eyes.
"Well then, how about you take my surname?" Yun Juncai suggested.
"Okay." The two agreed without hesitation.
When it was their turn, Yun Juncai registered them with the names Yun Jia and Yun An. After finishing the process, the first thing he did was take them to the tailor shop to buy clothes, then skipped the steps of buying or renting a house and went straight to the restaurant.
The restaurant was packed with people.
