"Hello," She greeted after seeing that it was Michael calling.
"Hey," Michael's voice sounded a little worried.
"I just saw the post, that was your doing, yes?"
"Mhm hm." She nodded her head even though she knew he couldn't see her.
"It was a last minute idea, but handled the situation faster than I had anticipated."
"That's great. And the statement from Nicholas and Scarlett, I take it you had something to do with it?"
"Yep." She confirmed, proudly, earning a deep chuckle from Michael.
"I guess there really was no need to worry about you."
"I don't recall you being worried, Michael." She teased.
"Of course I was," He retorted hardly, earning a breathy chuckle from Vanessa.
"But I knew you'd handle the situation. After all, you've been doing that ever since we got involved in this mess."
"And I plan on continuing," She said as she pulled up into her driveway and realized that she had an incoming call from her mother.
