Inside Takamagahara.
Obito moved unimpeded, ruthlessly reaping the lives of the Otsutsuki in his path.
Any powerful Otsutsuki capable of stopping or even slowing him down had already been locked outside the starship, sealed off by the "Dead Hand" system.
As for the weaklings left aboard, Obito was slaughtering them without restraint.
With every Otsutsuki that fell, his power grew stronger!
...
Outside Takamagahara.
The one-minute buffer period was about to end.
An array of terrifying weapons emerged from the starship—electromagnetic kinetic cannons, high-energy particle beams, gamma-ray lasers, interstellar torpedoes...
It was no exaggeration to say that this four-pronged weapons system could easily obliterate a planet.
Yet the twenty-one Otsutsuki remaining outside showed no fear.
They had transcended mortal limits, their strength defying reason itself.
Tsukine's face was grim as he gazed at Takamagahara, now beyond his control.
"Hold off the ship's attacks," he ordered coldly. "I will break through the 'Dead Hand' system's spatial barrier."
"Understood!" the surrounding Otsutsuki responded in unison.
A cataclysmic barrage descended upon them.
The Otsutsuki displayed their various abilities, exhausting every ounce of power to carve out a safe zone for their king.
...
Inside Takamagahara.
Standing atop a mountain of corpses, Obito halted his slaughter.
Save for a few lucky survivors hiding in remote corners, every Otsutsuki aboard had already fallen at his feet.
Through the massive screen before him, he could see Tsukine attempting to dismantle the ship's spatial field.
"I need to hurry... That guy is about to break through."
Muttering to himself, he began refining a "pill" using thousands of Otsutsuki corpses as the source.
A few minutes later—
Crack!
A crisp sound echoed through the ship, as if something had shattered.
In the next instant, Tsukine and ten other elite Otsutsuki tore through space and stormed aboard.
The remaining eleven had perished under the Dead Hand's devastating assault.
Surveying the hellscape within the starship, Tsukine's eyes burned with fury, his terrifying aura seething uncontrollably.
"Isshiki, how dare you...?!"
His once-mighty clan, built through his own hands, had been wiped out in mere moments. Tsukine's rage knew no bounds!
Obito calmly popped a nearly solidified chakra pill into his mouth and cast a tranquil gaze upon the gathered Otsutsuki.
"Dare? I've already done it. So what?"
The pill dissolved instantly, unleashing a flood of chakra that rampaged through his body.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
Before the astonished eyes of the Otsutsuki, Obito's power surged to terrifying heights, surpassing most of them within seconds.
Only when he reached near parity with Tsukine did the sudden escalation finally halt.
"Good... very good, Isshiki!" Tsukine snarled through clenched teeth. "Do you think simply amassing chakra makes you my equal?"
Obito shook his head and pointed at his left eye. "Of course not. Take a closer look."
At first glance, his left eye appeared unchanged—still adorned with six tomoe.
But a closer look revealed something startling.
Each tomoe had become darker, denser.
And within each of the six tomoe lay an additional thirty-six micro-tomoe—
A total of 216 tomoe!
Each representing a different ocular technique!
['Otsutsuki Werewolf: Every time you kill an Otsutsuki, you randomly acquire one of their abilities!]
Although the weaker Otsutsuki aboard had a low drop rate, even a mere 1% chance had granted Obito an impressive arsenal.
"Kagutsuchi, Yatsukami, Jitsume, Kanko..."
"Yamato-Takeru, Transcendent Fertility..."
Uh, that last one seemed a little weird?
In any case—
With a sufficient chakra supply and over two hundred ocular techniques at his disposal, Obito saw no way he could lose.
...
As the Otsutsuki momentarily hesitated, Obito seized the opportunity.
Without a shred of honor, he unleashed thirty different dojutsu at once, instantly erasing two weakened Otsutsuki from existence.
"Aaargh!"
Their agonized screams echoed as their souls were shredded by the "Taira-no-Masakado" technique.
(Taira-no-Masakado: A legendary vengeful spirit from a distant land, still feared for its power to haunt the living.)
Tsukine's heart clenched in alarm.
In that split second, he had sensed Obito unleashing dozens of abilities simultaneously—
Attacks spanning soul, body, space-time, even causality itself!
Such a complex onslaught was impossible to counter in an instant!
Gritting his teeth, Tsukine fixed Obito with a dark stare.
"Isshiki, stop this senseless slaughter! What do you want? We can negotiate!"
Obito stroked his chin thoughtfully.
"I want to know your secret, Tsukine. Why hoard chakra fruits instead of consuming them yourself? What are you really planning?"
Tsukine's gaze flickered with uncertainty, his mind racing.
Just then—
Obito's form flickered erratically, as though skipping frames in reality.
A moment later, he stabilized, raising an eyebrow. "Hmph. It seems you just tried to erase me from existence on a causal level."
Had it not been for his newly acquired "Ame-no-Tokotachi" technique, capable of resisting such esoteric attacks—
(Ame-no-Tokotachi: A divine being overseeing sacred rites in an ancient court.)
He would have been erased like a phantom, vanishing into oblivion.
Tsukine's face darkened. "You even countered that..."
"You old bastard," Obito sneered. "No honor at all. Let's see how you handle this!"
He lunged forward.
Boom! Boom!
In the blink of an eye, two more Otsutsuki fell.
Though each of them ranked among the strongest of their kind, none had more than four or five dojutsu.
Weakened and battered, they stood no chance against Obito's overwhelming abilities.
Grinning, Obito channeled his inner Kakashi and taunted, "It's useless. With over a hundred ocular techniques at my disposal, you have no chance of winning."
With four more kills, he gained four new powerful dojutsu.
Two hundred and twenty in total!
Once again, his form blurred as he bypassed Tsukine, targeting the remaining Otsutsuki.
"Damn you! Fight me head-on if you dare!"
Watching his elite warriors fall like harvested wheat, powerless to intervene, Tsukine was on the verge of madness.
"Coward! Face me!"
Obito dropped the last Otsutsuki corpse and turned to him with a twisted grin.
"Alright. Just the two of us now—just as you wished."
