Chapter 38 - The Twin Heroines of the Disciplinary Committee

■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

[Author's Note]

I'm finally back after so many months. I apologize for the delay to all the readers who have followed and supported my story throughout this time. Although I don't have a set schedule yet, from now on I'll be posting chapters more frequently; I already have a few chapters ready—I just need to translate them and tweak a few details. I'm also updating several details in the Auxiliary Volume and correcting some aspects in the previous chapters. As I update the chapters, I'll let you know.

■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

*Kenichi's POV*

The girl who stood in front of us, pointing her finger at us while shouting at us in a bossy tone, is named Kotegawa Yui. She is one of the main heroines of To Love-Ru, and like Sairenji, she is also one of Rito's potential love interests.

Judging by her appearance, anyone would say she's a beautiful girl; she has long, straight black hair with longish bangs that fall over her forehead. Her skin is fair, and her eyes are light brown. Although her breasts aren't particularly large compared to those of women like Yukana, Otoha-san, and Aya-sensei, that doesn't change the fact that her slender, well-proportioned figure makes her look just as attractive as them.

Her personality could be described as serious and responsible. As a member of the disciplinary committee, she strives to uphold order, discipline, and the school rules. From her first appearance in the original story, she was portrayed as someone who is strict about school rules and pupils' behavior, especially towards those she considers perverts.

But the trait that best defines her personality is that she is a tsundere. In other words, she is the sort of girl who acts cold, angry, or aggressive towards the boy she likes at first, but who, deep down or as time goes by, reveals a tender and affectionate side. Kotegawa is a prime example of this; at first, she detested Rito, considering him a pervert, but as the story progressed, she became drawn to his kind and sincere personality, although right up until the end of the story, she stubbornly refused to admit that she had feelings for him.

Kenichi: (Come to think of it… In the original story, I never really spoke much to Kotegawa… Well, it's not as if I spoke much to the other heroines either).

Unfortunately, this is the reality of my position as a supporting character in a generic ecchi anime; I suppose I should at least count myself lucky that, unlike other supporting characters, I was the only one included in important events, such as trips to the beach or school outings.

It may be a bit of a raw deal, but it's an inevitable plot development. Ecchi manga and anime are characterised by not delving too deeply into the story or character development, especially when it comes to supporting characters.

Kotegawa: "The girls in Class 2-B have already told me everything! You're the perverts who barged into the girls' changing room and did those shameless things to them!".

Kenichi: (Eh? It seems she's mistaking us for Rito and Tomoki).

From what I gathered from her words, it seems the other girls who didn't chase after Rito and Tomoki went to tell Kotegawa what had happened, but, as they were flustered and nervous, they just told her that some perverts had burst into the changing rooms while they were changing, without specifying how many there were or what they looked like.

What's more, as luck would have it, it was lunchtime and most of the pupils were having lunch in their classrooms, in the playground, or in the canteen. So I suppose that, in Kotegawa's eyes, we—being the only males near the girls' changing rooms at the time—were the prime suspects.

Raku: "W-Wait, please! T-This is a misunderstanding! We're not the suspects!".

Startled by Kotegawa's sudden accusation, Raku tried to explain what had happened hurriedly, but as he did so, his voice was stammering and rather nervous.

Kenichi: "Calm down, Raku. When you put it like that, it sounds as if we really were involved in some way".

Shuu: "That's true~ Besides, I'm sure that's what all suspects usually say~".

Raku: "Ugh".

Kotegawa frowned suspiciously as she watched us talking so nonchalantly and pointed at us again, just as a certain protagonist from a video game franchise about lawyers would do after accusing a criminal.

Kotegawa: "No matter what sort of excuses you come up with, peeping into the girls' changing room is an immoral act that deserves severe punishment!".

Kenichi: (If this were a normal world, the logical thing would be to expel us or suspend us from school, but, unfortunately, this is a world governed by the rules of ecchi anime, so we'll most likely just get a warning or a scolding).

Although this is a configuration specifically designed to favor the protagonists of ecchi anime such as Rito and Tomoki, fortunately, the three of us are also important characters in our respective stories. Raku is a protagonist, Shuu is his best friend, and I'm an anomaly who originally had the same role as Shuu, so you could say that we're also protected.

Raku: "Wait! I'm serious, we weren't spying on the girls; the real culprits just ran past us as they were making their escape".

Kotegawa: "Silence! Did you really think I'd believe that sort of nonsense? I won't allow people as immoral as you to tarnish this school's good reputation!".

Raku: (Good reputation?).

Shuu: (Good reputation?).

Kenichi: (What 'good reputation' is she on about? A few minutes ago, we saw the headmaster running half-naked across the school playground clutching a pervy magazine, and a few hours ago, she deputy head sexually assaulted Rito in front of all the pupils. No matter how you look at it, this school is anything but normal).

Raku: "H-Hey, you two, don't just stand there staring at me with those smirks – say something to help me out… For starters, who's this girl?".

Kenichi: "Her name is Kotegawa Yui; she's in Class 1-B and she's a member of the Disciplinary Committee".

In contrast to Raku, who was speaking nervously, I explained what I knew about Kotegawa in a calm, normal manner.

Raku: "S-She's a member of the Disciplinary Committee!".

Shuu: "Hooo~ I'm surprised you know her, Kenichi-boy~ Who'd have thought your database on the beautiful girls at this high school was better than mine~?".

I'd like to refute that claim, but unfortunately for me, I can't.

Because, in a sense, he's right.

My ability to see alternate realities literally makes me an invader of privacy, especially in this world where so many characters from different manga and anime are mixed together.

Kenichi: "It's not as surprising as all that; it's just that we both went to the same middle school. Back then, she was the president of the Disciplinary Committee, so I'm not particularly surprised that she is now as well".

Although what I said is technically true, the reality is that my memories of Kotegawa from middle school feel rather hazy; I'm more familiar with her from the manga and the anime, but obviously, I can't say in front of everyone that I know her because we're both characters from a ridiculous ecchi anime.

Kotegawa: "What on earth are you lot whispering about!? Especially you – you seem to be the most suspicious of the three!".

Raku: "W-WHAT!? But I haven't said a word!".

Although it's amusing to see Raku speaking nervously as he tries to clear up Kotegawa's misunderstanding, at this rate, our lunch break will be over, so I think I should step in now.

Kenichi: "Calm down, Kotegawa. As Raku just told you, we're not the ones you're looking for".

Upon hearing my words, Kotegawa turned her head in my direction and looked at me with her characteristic frown, but she seemed to calm down a little when she saw that, unlike Raku, I was behaving quite calmly.

Kotegawa: "And who are you?".

Kenichi: "My name is Saruyama Kenichi and these two are my friends, Ichijou Raku and Maiko Shuu; all three of us are in Class 1-A".

Kotegawa: "All three of them are in the same class! No matter how you look at it, that just makes them seem even more suspicious!".

Kenichi: "I know it sounds rather suspicious; in fact, the two lads who were spotted peeping into the girls' changing room are also in our class".

Did you think I was going to defend Rito?.

I'm sorry, but the answer is a resounding 'no'.

Now that I've stepped down from my role as the protagonist's best friend, I no longer have any reason to help Rito with his ridiculous perverted accidents. Besides, that idiot has had perverted accidents spanning over 200 chapters of the manga; if I had to help him, I'd have to keep an eye on him 24 hours a day – what sort of idiot would volunteer for such a pointless role?.

As for Tomoki… The idea of helping that idiot has never even crossed my mind; in fact, in his own words, he'd rather not be helped because he also enjoys being hit by the girls, so it's best to ignore him.

Kotegawa: "And you expect me to believe you had nothing to do with it after hearing that!? There's nothing to assure me that you aren't in cahoots with those two perverts!".

Kenichi: "It's just as you say; although we're telling the truth, the reality is that we have no way of proving to you that we were not involved".

Kotegawa: "Eh?.

I could clearly see Kotegawa's composure crumble instantly after hearing me admit quite matter-of-factly that I had no way of proving our innocence to her.

Raku: "H-Hey! You're supposed to be trying to convince her we've got nothing to do with it! Why are you agreeing with her!?".

Kenichi: "That's because the situation doesn't look too good for us; we're an all-male group, it's lunchtime, and we're the only ones near the girls' changing rooms right now; and to top it all off, we're in the same class as the real culprits. No matter how you look at it, anyone could come to the conclusion that we're probably Tomoki and Rito's accomplices".

Raku: "Ugh".

Shuu: "It's true. Besides, there aren't any CCTV cameras in this corridor either, so you could say it's our word against hers~".

After answering Raku's question and listening to Shuu's words, I approached Kotegawa with the intention of showing her my sincerity. But to my surprise, the moment I looked her straight in the eye and was just three steps away, she nervously took a step back, averting her gaze; and strangely enough, her cheeks flushed intensely.

Kotegawa: (⁄ ⁄>⁄ ⁄<⁄ ⁄)

Kenichi: "(Hmm?)"

If I were the typical generic protagonist from an ecchi anime, right now I'd be thinking that Kotegawa got a fright when she saw me approach her so suddenly, and then I'd just brush it off. But fortunately, I'm not like those stupid, clueless protagonists, so obviously I realized straight away that she'd gotten flustered at the sight of me up close.

Not to brag, but even I'm aware that I'm actually quite good-looking right now. It's true that I might sound a bit narcissistic, but considering the glances I get from various women every day, I can state with complete confidence that I'm good-looking.

Generally speaking, in ecchi anime or manga, the main and supporting heroines tend to have kind personalities that make them unlikely to judge people by their appearance; it is for this very reason that they don't usually feel attracted to men other than the protagonist. A male character may be attractive, intelligent, athletic, or possess hundreds of qualities superior to those of the protagonist, but in the eyes of the heroines, these qualities are merely superficial and pale in comparison to the yasashii (kind) personality possessed by most protagonists.

■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

[Note]

Yasashii (Kind): It is a Japanese word that translates to 'kind', 'gentle', or 'compassionate'. When applied to an anime or manga protagonist, it describes them as a kind-hearted, empathetic, and considerate character who always puts the well-being of their friends and loved ones before their own.

It is often used in the anime community to refer to the archetype of the benevolent protagonist.

■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

But essentially, that is a configuration that only occurs in the world of fiction; in the reality, it is almost impossible for a person not to be attracted to the appearance and qualities of others, especially if that appearance matches their personal tastes or preferences.

But don't get me wrong; it's not as though I'm saying Kotegawa fell in love with me the moment she saw me. It's just that she isn't yet used to being in such close contact with someone of the opposite sex.

Kenichi: "We were just on our way to a quiet spot to have lunch, which is why we happened to bump into those two on the way; if you don't believe me, feel free to ask the girls in Class 2-B – I'm sure they'll tell you there were only two boys spying on them".

The moment I said that to him, I made sure to show him the homemade bento I was holding in my right hand. Raku, too, hastened to show him his. As for Shuu, the poor lad was crying in a comical way while holding up a simple, cheap, transparent supermarket bag containing a yakisoba bread and a soft drink.

Shuu: "Uuuuh~ This world is so unfair. Just you wait, one day I'm going to have a beautiful wife who'll make me the most delicious bento in the world, and I'm going to rub it in your face".

Kenichi: (I'm a man of culture who detests spoilers; that's why I'm not going to spoil the surprise of who you'll end up marrying).

Kotegawa: "T-That's not enough to prove you had nothing to do with it".

Kenichi: "I know… That's why all I can do is ask you to trust our word; we weren't involved in what happened, and we're not the sort of people who'd do something like spy on girls while they're getting changed".

I said that while looking Kotegawa straight in the eye, with what I thought was the most sincere expression I could manage at that moment.

Kotegawa: "..."

Kotegawa simply returned my gaze without saying a word. At first her expression was quite serious, but as the seconds passed her cheeks began to flush deeply, a clear sign that she was embarrassed.

In the end, he could no longer bear the embarrassment and ended up looking away nervously.

Kotegawa: "O-Okay! I'll take your word for it for now, but I'm still going to report what happened to the chairperson of she Disciplinary Committee! This sort of immoral behavior cannot be tolerated!".

Kenichi: (So this is the famous ikemen privilege).

■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

[Note]

Ikemen: It is a Japanese term used to describe an attractive man, particularly someone with a face considered handsome or elegant. The concept goes beyond mere physical beauty; it is generally associated with men who have an elegant appearance, good personal hygiene, refined manners, and a charismatic or captivating personality.

■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

I couldn't help but think of that term after seeing Kotegawa's over-the-top reaction.

If I still looked the way I used to, Kotegawa would almost certainly have thought I was a disgusting pervert for staring at her so directly; it's surprising how a simple change in appearance can make women react so differently. But I suppose there's not much point in complaining about that; the same thing literally happens with men.

Personally, I don't consider myself an ikemen. It may be true that I now have a rather attractive face and my physique isn't as muscular as that of the characters in Baki, but I don't think my nature really fits with the sort of personality those characters usually have.

While I was telling Kotegawa everything I knew about Rito and Tomoki, I could hear Shuu and Raku whispering behind me.

Shuu: "Tch, just look at him shamelessly taking advantage of his privileges as an ikemen. We've got to face facts, Raku—the once humble and perverted Saruyama Kenichi of the past no longer exists; now he's one of those bloody ikemen who abuse their good looks to seduce women. We've lost him completely~".

Raku: "What do you mean by an ikemen's privileges?".

Shuu: "Are you seriously asking that? Didn't you see how this beautiful girl didn't believe a single word you said, but the moment she saw Kenichi's attractive appearance, she was willing to blindly believe everything he said? What else is that but the distinctive charm of a bloody ikemen?".

Kenichi: "Hey, don't slander me like that; this is just part of my natural charm".

Shuu: "Bloody hell! And you've got the nerve to rub it in our faces. The Kenichi of the past would never have done that. Don't you feel bad for poor Raku? It's all your fault he's now the ugly duckling of our little group".

Raku: "Eh!?".

Kenichi: "You're right; I'm sorry, Raku".

Raku: "Why are you apologizing!?".

Kenichi: "Well, you don't need to feel bad about yourself; at least you're a few rungs above Tomoki".

Raku: "I don't know if you're trying to comfort me or insult me!".

Kotegawa: "Hey, I haven't finished talking to you lot yet! I'll let you go for now, but don't get me wrong—I still don't fully trust what you're saying! If I hear that you were involved in any way in this incident, I'm going to—".

???: "What's going on, Kotegawa-san? Why are you so worked up? Has something happened?".

Just as we were finally preparing to go to lunch, Kotegawa's shouting was suddenly cut short.

Kenichi: (It's at times like this that I feel a bit envious of the protagonists in ecchi anime, like Rito or Tomoki. They can get away with this sort of thing without any consequences at all).

Just like Raku and Shuu, I also turned my head to look at the girl who had spoken to Kotegawa, but the moment I did, I couldn't help but be a little taken aback.

The girl standing behind us, with a commanding demeanor similar to Kotegawa's, had long, dark purple hair tied back in a ponytail with a green ribbon; her skin was fair and her eyes were light brown. Just like Kotegawa, she was wearing the Sainan High School uniform and had a slim, well-proportioned figure.

Kenichi: (So this is one of those famous anime parallels; I have to admit that seeing it in real life feels quite surreal).

The girl we were looking at was quite attractive, to the point where her appearance could easily rival that of any of she main heroines from other anime. But that's not why I was surprised.

What really surprised me was how much she resembled Kotegawa.

[Insert image]

The only things that set them apart were their hair colors and hairstyles; in every other respect they were practically identical, to the point where anyone might think they were sisters.

As I already know the true nature of this world, I was already prepared, to a certain extent, to come across characters from different anime who had similar appearances or personalities (such as Naruse Mio and Rias Gremory). But seeing it in real life, I have to admit it's a truly impressive sight.

I was so surprised that at first I didn't even give much thought to the fact that this girl was also one of the main heroines in one of the many anime series that is all mixed up in this world.

That's right…

This girl's name is Misumi Rin; she's a heroine from an ecchi manga and anime called 'Okusama ga Seito Kaichou', and you could say that, just like Kotegawa, she's also one of the potential love interests of the protagonist of that anime.

For those unfamiliar with this ecchi romantic comedy anime, here's a brief summary of the main plot:

The story centers on Izumi Hayato, a seemingly normal boy (who is secretly quite a pervert), who wanted to be the student council president, but during the elections suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of Wakana Ui, an extremely beautiful and charismatic girl who advocates for freedom of love in secondary school (she even proceeds to hand out condoms so that all the students can have sex freely). This is why Hayato feels resentful at losing to someone like her. But one day, out of the blue, Ui turns up at Hayato's house and reveals that the two of them are engaged due to a secret agreement their parents made many years ago, which is why Ui has been ordered to start living with Hayato as a newlywed couple, despite Hayato's initial protests.

Although the story sounds somewhat interesting, at the end of the day it's just another generic ecchi anime; if there's one thing that sets it apart from other anime in the same genre, it's that the protagonist, Izumi Hayato, is a pervert who doesn't hesitate to do perverted things to the heroines. In just the first episode of this anime, his relationship with Wakana Ui developed more than Rito's with Sairenji did throughout the entire To Love-Ru series.

■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

[Author's Note]

I say this because, even though Rito does perverted things to the heroines of To Love-Ru in every episode, at the end of the day, that's just the result of his many perverted accidents. He's never done anything perverted to the heroines of his own accord; therefore, in my opinion, that doesn't count as progress.

■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

As for Misumi Rin, one could say that she and Kotegawa were cut from the same cloth; not only are their appearances similar, but they also share the same personality, and their roles in their respective stories are identical.

Thinking about this, I stopped looking at Misumi Rin's appearance and focused on the green cloth armband tied around her left arm. The word 風紀 (Discipline) was written on it. That cloth armband was proof that she was currently the Chair of the Disciplinary Committee.

Kenichi: (If she's the current Chair of the Disciplinary Committee, then she must be in her second year. I don't recall hearing anything about a girl called Wakana Ui becoming President of the Student Council either, so I suppose the plot of Okusama ga Seito Kaichou hasn't started yet).

Kotegawa: "President! I've just been told that two first-years were peeping in the girls' changing room for Class 2-B!".

The moment Misumi-senpai heard Kotegawa's words, she immediately frowned and began shouting.

Misumi: "How on earth could something like that have happened!? I've got enough problems as it is with the Headmaster and those troublesome girls who've just put themselves forward for the Student Council Presidency, and now I've got to deal with a bunch of perverts as well!".

As soon as she'd finished speaking, she stopped looking at Kotegawa and instead turned her angry gaze towards us.

Misumi: "Was it you lot!?".

Without asking for any details, she jumped to the same conclusion that Kotegawa had at the start, proving once again that the two of them really were cut from the same cloth.

Kotegawa: "No, President… They just happened to be near the changing rooms when the incident occurred; they've already assured me they had nothing to do with it".

The moment Kotegawa said that, his gaze met mine again, but he immediately looked away, appearing a little embarrassed.

Kotegawa: "But from what they said, it seems the two perverts who were spying on them are in the same class; that's why I was asking them to tell me everything they know about the pair".

Misumi: "They're in the same class?! No matter how you look at it, that's very suspicious!".

The moment Misumi-senpai heard Kotegawa's explanation, she immediately got angry and started shouting at us, but whilst she was doing so, she didn't notice that a short girl had stepped in front of her (more specifically, just below her breasts).

Unlike Raku and Shuu, who were surprised to see this girl who looked no more than 10 years old, I recognized her straight away. As far as I could remember, her name was Sawatari Makoto; she's a second-year student and also a supporting character in 'Okusama ga Seitokaichou'.

Given her small stature of 120 cm, anyone might think she is nothing more than a little girl, but the reality is that she is a second-year sixth-form student; this means she must be around 16 or 17 years old. She has reddish hair tied back in a ponytail that runs down her back, along with a small curly tuft (ahoge) on the top of her head. Her skin is fair and her eyes are light green.

■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

[Note]

Ahoge: It is a Japanese term that literally translates as 'silly hair' or 'absurd hair'. In manga and anime culture, it is a classic visual device: a single, long, unruly strand of hair sticking out from the top of a female character's head.

■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Another thing that caught my attention was that her face had a calm, indifferent expression, which reminded me quite a lot of the one Kato usually wears. But apart from that, there weren't many other details worth mentioning about her.

Although the Okusama ga Seitokaichou anime ran for two seasons, the reality is that all its episodes were only about eight minutes long. That's why, unlike the protagonist Hayato and the two main heroines, most of the supporting characters only appeared for a few minutes.

The only thing I know about Sawatari is that she's on the Disciplinary Committee alongside Misumi-senpai and, apparently, the two of them are best friends. Given her childlike (loli) appearance and comical behavior, you could say she was something of a pet for the story.

Misumi: "As chair of the Disciplinary Committee, I, Misumi Rin—".

Sawatari: "As long as my breasts are bouncing…".

Misumi: "I will not tolerate this immoral behaviour! Kyaaa~!".

Ignoring the fact that Sawatari's head was just a few centimetres below her breasts, Misumi-senpai continued to tell us off, but just as she was halfway through her speech, Sawatari suddenly stood on tiptoe and rested his head beneath Misumi-senpai's large, full breasts, making them look even bigger and more defined than they actually were.

Kenichi: (¬_¬)

This scene was identical to the one in the episode of Okusama ga Seitokaichou where they both first appeared; that is why I wasn't particularly surprised. But that didn't take away from the fact that it was quite a stimulating scene, so I found myself having to look away. Like any other normal teenager, I obviously wanted to watch it too, but unfortunately I still have a lot of pent-up sexual energy from my last encounter with Ranko and Yukana; that is why I'm not quite sure I can control myself when I see a scene like this.

Kotegawa: (⊙⊙)

Raku: (⊙⊙)

Shuu: (✪ω✪)

But that wasn't the case for Kotegawa and Raku.

Although scenes like this would become commonplace in the near future, it had only been a few weeks since lessons began, and most of the storylines in the various anime series that are intertwined in this world hadn't even started yet. That's why they were not yet used to seeing this sort of suggestive scene; I'd go so far as to say that the only one enjoying this situation was Shuu, whose eyes had literally turned into stars.

Misumi: (⊙⊙)!

When Misumi-senpai realized what had happened and saw our reactions, she immediately blushed furiously and started shaking Sawatari as if he were nothing more than a stuffed toy.

Misumi: "You were supposed to say, 'As long as I'm alive'!!! What on earth do you think you're doing, Sawatari!?".

*Boing*

*Boing*

I wonder if she's realised that, by moving so violently, she's just making her large breasts (size G) bounce around quite conspicuously.

Sawatari: ദ്ദി •⩊• )

Shuu: ദ്ദി ꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ)

Kenichi: "..."

Although it was a quite stimulating scene for young virgen men like us, I resisted the urge to look and approached Kotegawa, who was still in a daze.

Kenichi: "Kotegawa… Can we go now? At this rate, our lunch break will be over, and besides, I've already told you everything I know about Rito and Tomoki".

Kotegawa: "E-Eh???".

Kotegawa snapped out of her daze after hearing my words.

Kenichi: "Anyway, you already know our names and which class we're in. If you want to ask us anything else, you can come to our classroom anytime. As I said before, both Rito and Tomoki are a pair of rather troublesome idiots, so if you ever have any more trouble with either of them, you can come and ask me for help. I promise I'll personally make sure they learn their lesson".

Kotegawa: "..."

Kotegawa fell silent, lost in thought, while looking at Misumi-senpai.

Misumi: "Why do you always do things like this?! My reputation as Chairperson of the Disciplinary Committee is completely ruined because of you!".

Sawatari: "〜(꒪꒳꒪)〜"

Kotegawa: "Haaa~".

Kotegawa could only sigh in exasperation as he watched Misumi-senpai chase after Sawatari; it was like watching two sisters play tag.

Unlike in the To Love-Ru anime, Kotegawa is currently only a new member of the Disciplinary Committee; therefore, at the moment, she does not have the freedom to make decisions without first consulting her superiors.

But...

Misumi: ε=ε=ε= (۶•̀Д•́)۶

Sawatari: ε=ε=ε= 〜(꒪꒳꒪)〜

As you can see, neither of her two supposed superiors is in a fit state to give orders.

Kotegawa: "All right… It seems the President isn't in a fit state to ask questions at the moment… For now, I'll take your word for it, but be careful in the future – I'll be keeping an eye on you".

Kenichi: "Thanks, Kotegawa. See you later".

After saying goodbye to Kotegawa, I walked over to Raku and Shuu, who were still staring at Misumi-senpai's breasts with daft expressions on their faces.

Kenichi: "Hey, Raku, stop covering your eyes like that. Anyone can tell you're peeking through the gaps between your fingers".

Raku: "T-That's not true! I-I wasn't looking at anything! I-It's just that something got in my eyes!".

Kenichi: "Mate, don't bother trying to hide it – it's only natural for a bloke to react like that; in fact, it'd be strange if you hadn't reacted at all… But I'd advise you to be a bit more discreet next time – I've heard women have a sixth sense for picking up on that sort of gaze; besides, it'd be a real problem if Onodera caught you doing something like that".

Raku: "Ugh".

Kenichi: "Same goes for you, Shuu. If you don't stop making that stupid face, I'm going to tell Miyamoto on you".

Shuu: "Hmm? Why would you accuse me in front of Ruri-chan?".

Kenichi: "You'll find out in due course; I don't want to give you any spoilers just yet".

Shuu: ( •⩊• )?

Kenichi: "What matters now is that I've finally managed to persuade Kotegawa to let us go, so let's get going before our lunch break is over."

Raku: "Phew… What a relief – at least they didn't blame us for what happened".

Kenichi: "In the first place, this whole thing got complicated because you started talking and acting all nervous".

Raku: "I'm sorry".

After that, we simply walked off, leaving Kotegawa and the other members of the Disciplinary Committee behind.

*Crack*

Tomoki: "AAAAAAHHHHHH!!! IN MY CROTCH, NOOOOOOO! IGNORANT WOMAN'S, DON'T YOU KNOW HOW PRICELESS THE JEWELS OF THE SAKURAI LINEAGE ARE!? HOW ARE YOU GOING TO COMPENSATE ME IF I LOSE THE ABILITY TO PRODUCE MINI-TOMOKIS!? AAAGGGHHH!!!".

*Crack*

Rito: "I'M SO SORRYYYY!!! IT WAS MY FAULT FOR NOT WATCHING WHERE I WAS GOING! SO PLEASE STOP HITTING ME IN THE CROTCH! AAAGGGHHH!!!".

On the way, we thought we heard two cries of suffering and pain, but we decided to ignore them and continued walking towards our destination.

At that moment, the most important thing was our meal.
