The setup of the suspense movie isn't much different from typical films. Ye Chuqing, who plays a rookie cop new to the station, ends up making quite a few blunders, but eventually, she takes an old police officer as her mentor.
By chance, the mentor-mentee duo discovers a major case. However, they're frustrated by the lack of evidence, plus there's an insider betrayer within the force, so the two have to investigate secretly.
During the investigation, this not-so-reliable duo ends up causing many humorous situations. But amidst the light-heartedness, the killer's counterattack adds some tension. The last ten minutes of the plot twist are extremely brilliant, and Ye Qiu believes that although the film's box office performance didn't start well, it will definitely climb up gradually.
