Ye Qiu ignored the chatter of his family, focusing on his studies. He was about to become a senior in high school, and doing well in exams to leave this home was his first step of rebellion.
"Brother, where are you going?" The next day, when Ye Qiu was about to go out, he was stopped by Ye Qing.
"Library." He lowered his head to change shoes, not looking at her.
"Then wait, I'll go too."
Ye Qiu paused in his action of changing shoes. He had tried to avoid her, but still couldn't escape?
"What are you going for?"
Ye Qing answered matter-of-factly, "Can't I go if you're going to study? I have papers to write."
"Help your sister fill her water bottle, remember to add some red dates, longan, and brown sugar," Han Hui instructed Ye Qiu while doing chores, "Remember to come back early."
What else could Ye Qiu do but follow their instructions? Before leaving, as always, he carried all of Ye Qing's things.
