Wen Xin was embroidering a cross-stitch and chatting idly with Sister Li when she saw Dou Dou and Song Qiu suddenly howl and run towards the door. She glanced at the time in confusion. "It's not quitting time yet, what's up with these two?"
The sound of a key inserting into the lock rang out. "Chirp chirp chirp..." Dou Dou urgently stretched out its paws, scratching the door handle, while the plump Song Qiu whimpered and clawed at the door gap.
