Looking at serious Valthor, Zenis looked at Dazne and back at him and laughed out loud for a good few seconds and then immediately put on a serious expression.

Zenis regained consciousness and looked around until his eyes met Dazne's.
The moment she saw his eyes she immediately took her sword in her hand and tried to stab him in the heart.

Zenis mumbled and looked seriously deep into her eyes, where tears could be seen dimly.
She probably thought that Zenis had lost the fight for his body just like Luna, but why would that be-.
"Ah, I see now, when Valthor possessed Luna her whites turned into black-whites and the only reason Dazne would think I was Valthor so quickly is that my whites must be black too". Zenis thought and got out of bed.
Dazne, ready to attack at any moment, watched as Zenis walked to the mirror and looked closely on his own head seeing his black-white hair and his eyes were completely black.

As he focused, his eyes immediately returned to normal, except that they were now much brighter.

Dazne took 2 more stones from her pockets and placed them next to the first stone.

Dazne lowered her head even lower as if waiting for him to slap her for only having 3 stones.
To her surprise, Zenis took her chin and lifted her head towards his face, which was showing a small smile.
The smile wasn't big or anything, but it looked genuine and it really touched Dazne's heart, even though she knew that Zenis did not feel love or other emotions for anyone.
Moments like this made the hair on the back of her head stand up, because the talent he had for pretending to be normal was abnormal.
