Another person would have felt vindicated that Bucky was going through this. His networth, more than sixty billion, was at the risk of being dissolved in half because of his divorce. Everyone was shocked to find out he had been married, most importantly to one of the biggest rappers in Europe. Apparently he was ruthless, demanding half of everything and even though I knew I wasn't supposed to, I read the article and my eyes watered at the amount of dollars he wanted for maintenance.
That had made my chest cave in for a second. If I hadn't given in at the hotel, maybe... maybe all of this would have been avoidable. It felt like it was my fault, Bucky was trying to move on. Trying to go back to his husband and he just had to see me like that. Any normal person would lose their mind.
