The moment I stepped foot into the airport I felt a joy and excitement I hadn't felt in months! Nearly a year ago I wouldn't have thought I would have been able to afford flying back home so soon especially under such great circumstances, now that it was happening despite my heartbreak I had been smiling from the moment I had opened my eyes.
Last night I could barely sleep. I was buzzing with so much excitement that I had to go to the kitchen to make a midnight snack. It wasn't a surprise to find Zahi there as well, looking eager to see his family. He hadn't seen his parents in over three years and I knew how much this trip meant to him. Yes it had been a rough journey getting there but we had made it, and we were flying business class too!
