I paced a short length of sidewalk outside Theo's doubting whether it was a good idea to go inside. My brain thought it was simply stupid but my heart told me it would be a good idea. Afterall I didn't want things to be awkward in the Dominican and that meant I had to apologize to the last person on earth who I thought I would one day be begging for forgiveness.
However it was true, when you were in a situation you couldn't see the cracks of something until soemone else pointed out the flaws.
It took me a good minute but with a raised head, I walked into Theo's and felt pleasantly surprised to find it so busy. That meant I could blend in until I could scope out Benecio before I tried to talk to him. As soon as I walked in Jennifer, one of the waiters I always closely worked with, was there to greet me immediately and helped me find a quiet table close to the booths.
