I didn't remember Dove mentioning Molly would be there. My hand subconsciously rubbed my chin over and over again as I raked through my brain in efforts to remember. A part of my memory felt like he had told me at the beach but when?
I was far too distracted by his body to even lie that I did. If only I had known. I wanted to be romantic and be there for him since I had pretty much skipped him getting his braces. It seemed like a nice surprise at the time but the moment I entered and Molly did that girly cheer thing girls did, I nearly died.
She was a sweet girl. Extremely so but good enough for Benecio not for me! I was gay and even if I wasn't Molly and I were just on two different spectrums. It just wouldn't work.
