I pouted and looked out onto the campus not really sure what to say. It wasn't that I was in denial or anything. I knew very well Benecio would have never even entertained apologizing to me if it wasn't for Bucky and their parents.
Most definitely if I wasn't the face of the company. There wouldn't be much reason for him to care but a part of me wanted to believe that Benecio would have still apologized. I didn't even know Bucky was related to him at the time and he didn't even have a clue that I would one day be working for B&B.
Despite the common appearance of the Pereira family they were nothing like what I thought. Therefore the conception that he only wanted to be around me now because I was on a billboard just seemed far out of reach.
Mr Benedito and Mr Billie had raised great sons. A little rough around the edges but they were great nonetheless. With a sigh I turned to Molly and gave her a small smile. "I know Molly, but he's trying and I can't punish him forever."
