The phone call felt like it took a century and a half until it ended. I didn't want to spend most of my afternoon in my office when I had promised Dove a night out in Milan. We would be working like crazy for the next three days.
I wanted him to enjoy it just a little before the madness came in. When I left my office I knew he must have been in the bedroom by the low hum of music playing through his smaller speaker which made locating him much easier.
I found our bags open on the closet floor as he packed away our clothes whilst he danced to his Shakira album. His hips were perfectly in rhythm after he insisted he couldn't dance to save his life. He seemed to be telling a big fat lie when it came to that. He already had my bag done and was focusing on his own.
