Dove
I walked around the empty house in partial fascination and amazement that we even had a chance of renting it out. It wasn't a mansion, don't get me wrong but I could extend out my arms and not touch from wall to wall in the bathroom.
The walls were freshly painted white and it had that new renovated smell to it. Apparently they were new builds and Zahi had been eyeing them ever since he had found out about them. The space between neighbors was far enough that I didn't see what they were having for dinner just by looking over the fence.
The fence around the yard was tall too which meant we all had privacy from each other. The garage was actually attached to the house and had a door leading into the kitchen. It wasn't huge but it actually had a small island which I knew meant the world to Zahi.
