Seeing Dove in the office was a sight for sore eyes. Seeing him in my world almost felt unreal for a second when I stepped out of the elevator. I remembered Miley mentioning he would be coming in today to sign his contract.
However when I came back from my meeting I thought he would have been gone by then. He looked nervous and slightly out of place as he stood in his office holding a cream leather journal in his bandaged hands. He looked tired yet almost eager as he listened to everything Miley was saying to him.
I saw Miley first before I saw him. Everything in me wanted to stop and go straight to him however I had to keep my professionalism in check especially with my attorneys with me. We were finalizing the deal for the hotel and my duties with the owner.
