Dove
"You look better," I laughed as Molly and I skipped towards each other with happy smiles. She was back to herself. Her hair up in two ponytails on either side of her head with pink scrunchies, her hot pink flannel pants that made her look like she had just rolled out of bed.
She wore them with platform flip flops, a white cropped top and a butterfly necklace around her neck. She had purple lipstick on and glittery eyeshadow. Gone were the black clothes and depressing exterior.
"I'm beyond!" She loudly laughed and launched herself in my arms. I caught her easily and spun her around. A few students looked at us in envy, probably thinking we were together. Couldn't a guy and girl be friends without there being speculation. "I've found inner peace," she giggled once I put her down so her feet were firmly on the floor.
We held hands as we walked across campus. "I'm happy for you. We were scared you were going to burst into tears every five minutes," I chuckled.
