The late afternoon light spilled through the villa's wide windows, casting a warm, golden hue over the sleek furnishings.
Liam sat back comfortably on his luxurious sofa, his arm lazily draped over the backrest. A glass of rich, amber whiskey rested in his hand, swirling lazily as he listened to the soft hum of conversation.
Across from him, Maki and Mai had settled, their postures relaxed yet alert, though there was always an edge of tension between the two. The villa's cozy ambiance offered comfort, but their topic of conversation, life at Jujutsu High, was anything but light.
"So," Liam drawled, his lips tugging into a lazy grin, "how's the glamorous life of Jujutsu High treating my favorite troublemakers?"
Maki let out a soft snort, leaning back against the plush cushions. She crossed her arms, her sharp gaze flicking toward him. "Bearable, I guess. Could be worse. Though having Gojo as a teacher is like babysitting a delinquent with infinity-level powers."
Mai chuckled lightly, her expression softer but still amused. "Maki's just mad because Gojo knows how to annoy her."
Liam's grin deepened, his interest piqued. "Oh? Trouble with our dear Satoru? What's he been up to this time?"
Maki's eyes narrowed, her frustration barely contained. "What hasn't he been up to? He's lazy. No, he is beyond lazy. He skips classes, throws responsibility around like it's a cursed tool, and leaves us to figure everything out. He acts like teaching is just... optional. And when he does show up, it's always for something stupid. Like stealing snacks or pulling pranks."
Liam chuckled, his head tilting slightly as he took a slow sip of his drink. "Sounds about right. That blindfolded fool's always been trouble. I'm surprised you haven't tried to wring his neck yet."
Maki scoffed, her arms tightening across her chest. "If he wasn't so damn strong, I might've considered it. But even I'm not that suicidal."
Mai smirked, leaning forward as she rested her chin on her palm. "You mean yet, right?"
Maki shot her a glare, but Liam's laughter cut through the moment, deep and rich. "I'd pay good money to see that. You, charging at Gojo, and him laughing while dodging with that damn infinity of his. It'd be comedy gold."
Maki groaned, dragging her hand down her face. "More like a nightmare. He's impossible. It's like dealing with an overpowered man-child."
Mai's chuckle was softer, but her eyes gleamed with amusement. "Well, not all of us have it that bad. Utahime-sensei is a good teacher. She's kind, helpful... always ready to answer questions and clear doubts. She doesn't just throw you into the deep end like someone does."
Liam's brow quirked, his gaze shifting to Mai. "Ah, so Mai's found herself a teacher she actually likes? That's rare."
Mai nodded, her voice thoughtful. "She's strict but fair. And she doesn't underestimate me just because of who my family is. It's... nice, for once."
There was a pause, a heavy silence that lingered for a breath too long. Liam's gaze softened slightly, though he masked it with a teasing smirk. "Well, I guess we know who the teacher's pet is, don't we?"
Mai rolled her eyes but smiled faintly. "Better a teacher's pet than a student suffering under Gojo's 'I-don't-care' routine."
Maki clicked her tongue, her annoyance flaring again. "You have no idea. It's like fighting a cursed spirit every time I ask him to be serious. And every time, he just smiles and says, 'You'll figure it out.' I'm going to figure it out one day—by strangling him."
Liam laughed again, the sound rumbling low in his chest. "Oh, I'd love to see that. However, I think Gojo's too busy making everyone's life hell to care. That man... he thrives on chaos."
Maki sighed, but there was a glimmer of reluctant amusement in her eyes. "Yeah, well, one day I might snap. Infinity or not."
Liam smirked, swirling his drink lazily. "And I'll be right here with popcorn when it happens."
The room lapsed into an easy silence, the tension dissolving into comfort.
For a moment, it was just them—three people with complicated lives, taking refuge in the simplicity of conversation.
Liam observed Maki and Mai with an easy smile. The day had been long, filled with discussions and lingering tension, but he had a perfect idea to shift the mood.
"You two seem pretty worn out," He said, his tone light and teasing. "How about we head for a swim? Relax a little, and spend some quality time together. Since you both are back after a long time, I think it's only fair we celebrate a little."
Maki's eyes glimmered with curiosity while Mai's lips curled into a knowing smirk. The idea of unwinding in the pool after days of relentless training and stress was far too tempting.
"Sounds like a plan," Maki agreed, her grin sharp but eager.
Mai chuckled softly, a glint of mischief in her eyes. "Yeah, a swim sounds good. We deserve a little break."
Liam's gaze swept over them, his smile deepening. "Good. Go change into something... suitable for swimming. Can't have you diving in with those uniforms. Oh, and let Aiko know too—she should join us."
The twins shared a quick glance, something unsaid passing between them. Their smiles grew, more mischievous than before, almost dangerous.
"Got it," Mai said, her tone light but with an edge.
Maki nodded, her expression unreadable. "We'll be back soon."
With that, the two walked away, their steps light but purposeful. Liam's eyes lingered on them for a moment, sensing the shift in their mood. A soft chuckle escaped him.
"They're definitely up to something," He mused under his breath, but his grin remained.
Whatever they were planning, it promised to be entertaining.
He also decided to make a trip to the room to change his outfit.
Liam chuckled to himself, a devilish spark dancing in his eyes as he stepped into his room. His hands moved with purpose, stripping away the unnecessary layers and replacing them with something far more dangerous.
He chose a pair of tight, black jockeys that clung to his body like a second skin, the fabric stretched sinfully over his chiseled, lean frame. It left nothing to the imagination—every defined line of muscle, every sharp contour, and most importantly, the bold outline of the beast beneath was impossible to ignore.
It wasn't just confidence. It was a statement.
A challenge.
He wasn't here to play safe, and if the twins wanted to test limits, he was more than ready to show them how serious he was.
With a final look in the mirror, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips, he stepped out and made his way to the pool.
The sun glinted off his skin as he arrived, his figure standing tall and unbothered by the empty space.
He was the first to arrive, but that only meant he had time to play.
Positioning himself near the edge, Liam began to stretch, the motion slow, deliberate. Muscles flexed beneath bronzed skin, his arms lifted high above his head, exposing the sharp cut of his abs.
His back arched slightly, hips tilting just enough to tease, his movements fluid and unhurried.
