Chapter 265 - Twin Dragons Duel

In the arena, four figures faced off in the center, their eyes ablaze with anticipation. The crowd buzzed with excitement—after all, this match featured the Twin Dragons of Sabertooth, two of the Five Elite from the SaberTooth guild. Opposing them were Fairy Tail's own Iron Dragon and Fire Dragon Slayers, Gajeel Redfox and Natsu Dragneel, veteran heroes of Fiore whose glory days many had nearly forgotten.

Yet in the past few days, Fairy Tail's performance had silenced every doubter.

From the stands, Jiemma beamed. "Beat them soundly, and show everyone why Sabertooth is the strongest guild!"

Makarov chuckled, folding his arms. "That's right—give them a proper lesson in the power of our bonds!"

—Game start!—

"Let's go!" Sting Eucliffe called, confidence shining in his eyes.

"Aye!" Rogue Cheney responded, eager for the fight.

But before they could take a single step, Natsu and Gajeel materialized at their sides.

"Ka—!" Natsu's elbow caught Sting across the jaw, while Gajeel's Iron Fist smashed into Rogue's cheek. Both dragonslayers spun through the air, crashing to the arena floor.

Gasps rippled through the arena. No one expected Sabertooth's champions to be put on the defensive so immediately.

Natsu and Gajeel pressed the advantage. Natsu leapt high, his legs wreathed in crimson flames, delivering a blazing kick that sent Sting skidding backward. Gajeel followed, a single punch sending Rogue sprawling—and then a kick to finish him off.

As Sting gathered himself, he roared, "White Dragon's Roar!" A beam of pure white light shot from his mouth toward Natsu, who ducked just in time. Rolling aside, Gajeel narrowly avoided the redirected blast.

Rogue seized the moment. "Shadow Dragon's Slash!" he hissed, lunging at Gajeel—only to be met by the Iron Dragon Sword as Gajeel's arm transformed into a serrated blade, cleaving through Rogue's strike.

"Look at that defense!" Lector and Frosch cheered, while Lily and Happy laughed in disbelief.

Crashing together again, Gajeel slammed Rogue into Natsu, who snatched Rogue by the collar and hurled him toward Sting. "Fire Dragon's Wing Attack!" Natsu bellowed. The impact sent both twin dragons sprawling.

Breathing hard, Sting spat blood and laughed. "That was intense…but entertaining."

Natsu wiped soot from his face. "I knew you were strong, but this is unreal."

Gajeel grinned. "Don't underestimate Fairy Tail—never."

Sting's eyes narrowed. "You two defeated dragons with that strength? Dragonslayers? Aren't they…your mentors?"

"None of your business," Natsu snapped. "Now see the true power of dragon killing!"

"White Light Mode!" "Shadow Mode!"

Sting's body glowed with blinding radiance, while Rogue melted into shifting shadows.

Jiemma's voice cut through the tension. "This ends now, trash guild."

Sting lunged in a flash. "Holy White Judgment!" A fist of white energy hammered into Natsu, while Rogue struck Gajeel, phasing through to land a blow from within the shadows.

Suddenly the tide turned. Fairy Tail's champions staggered under the twin assaults.

"Magic Amplification Technique!" Lily breathed—recognizing the sudden surge in power.

"Keep fighting! We still have the edge!" Makarov urged from the crowd.

Sting landed a crushing blow to Natsu's abdomen, searing a dragon-shaped mark into his flesh. "Under the claws of the holy white dragon, your freedom will be torn away! And then I will surpass you!"

Beside him, Rogue whispered, "The Shadow Dragon preys unseen…caught in its darkness."

Gajeel roared, wrenching Rogue's arm free. "You won't pin me down!" With a powerful elbow, he sent Rogue skidding across the arena.

Sting, confident of victory, darted toward Natsu—only to be met by a sudden, blazing punch to the face. "How are you still standing?!" Sting gasped, staring at the scorched mark on his fist.

Natsu cracked a grin. "One more thing you didn't see coming. But you're still not as strong as me."

Gajeel joined in, wiping blood from his lips. "Don't get cocky, kids—never underestimate Fairy Tail!"

With that, Gajeel and Natsu charged in unison. "Dragon Slayer Profound Truth: Holy Nova!" A blinding white explosion ignited at the arena's center, obliterating everything around it.

When the dust settled, Natsu stood victorious, his hand gripping Sting's fallen fist—proof that Fairy Tail's bond could overcome even the mightiest dragons.
