Albedo shouted, "Cure her!" His voice thundered through the hall as he walked toward the other mage doctors, carrying Dila in his arms. His steps were frantic, desperate, every movement trembling as though the ground itself would collapse beneath him.
The doctors stepped back, fear written across their faces. None of them dared to approach.
"Cure her now!" Albedo roared again, his voice shaking the chamber. His heart was breaking apart with every second she remained still in his arms.
"Nooooooo!" His scream tore through the air, veins bulging along his neck, his eyes burning with madness and grief. His breath came ragged, broken, like the world itself was strangling him.
"Haaaaaaaaa!" His voice rose again, far too strong, too overwhelming. The sound exploded out, shaking the castle itself. The rooftop split apart from the force of his cry, stone and wood tearing open as if the heavens themselves recoiled from his agony.
