While this was going on, in another dimension, a brutal war raged between the Rulers and the Monarchs.
The one leading the Rulers was the first ruler himselfâthe one who was created by absolute being who named him Ashborn.
On the Monarchs' side, thousands were fighting, but a few stood out: the Beast Monarch, the Fire Monarch, the Monarch of Destruction and Dragons, the Plague Monarch, and the Frost Monarch etc .
The battlefield was chaos, but then⊠something strange happened.
All of them suddenly paused. Their movements slowed, their blades froze mid-air, and their minds started to clear.
The Rulers looked at each other in confusion.
Why did we stop? they thought. None of them knew why, but it felt as if something deep inside was opening.
Each of them had the same thought echoing inside their hearts:
Why are we even fighting?
Why are we destroying these creatures?
Why are we killing our own brothers?
Even Ashborn froze for a moment. He had always been differentâfighting for the Rulers but never killing his Monarch brothers. He only knocked them down, making sure they couldn't continue the fight.
And now, for the first time, even he felt free from the chains inside his heart.
Thenâ
A blinding white light engulfed everyone on the battlefield. Rulers and Monarchs alike vanished in an instant.
When the light faded, they all found themselves standing inside a grand throne room.
They recognized it immediately.
This was the throne room of their Creatorâ
The Absolute Being.
On the throne sat the Absolute Being Himself, gazing at them silently.
The Rulers instantly felt the weight of His presence. Awe. Fear. Worship.
After all, they were the ones who had created the three laws in His name:
Worship only the Absolute Being.
Show your devotion to the Absolute Being, even if it means killing others.
There is no God except the Absolute Being.
They lived by these laws with absolute devotion.
And on the other side, the Monarchs felt the same. Fear and loyalty boiled inside them.
The entire throne room went silent.
Then the voice of their Creator echoed. His tone was calm, yet carried disappointment that shook their souls.
"So⊠you do not recognize anything?"
Both Rulers and Monarchs froze, their hearts tightening as Ashborn, Antrias, and all the others bowed their heads.
The Absolute Being's disappointment felt heavier than any battlefield.
Then the Absolute Being spoke, his voice shaking the whole chamber.
"Children⊠my children. Rulers, Monarchs. Look at yourselves.
You're branded by your own pride, chained by hate, and blinded by war.
You fight like savages, killing each other. It's not all your fault⊠but your will, your choices, made it worse."
The Rulers bowed, their wings trembling under his gaze.
Ashborn trembled the most, his body shaking, fear burning inside him. He knew the wrath of the Absolute Being⊠but even then, doubt flickered in his eyes.
"Manipulated could it be we were controlled?" they thought. None of them truly understood.
The Absolute Being's voice cut through their confusion.
"Do you even know why you fight? Do you even remember?
Rulers, I gave you one missionâto shield and protect life.
Monarchs, I gave you anotherâto erase what should never exist.
Yet here you are, tearing each other apart."
The Ruler of Light stepped forward, anger and confusion in his eyes.
"Then why, Creator? Why give us commands that oppose each other? Why pit us against one another?"
Andreas, the Monarch of Destruction, groaned in his dragon form, his voice thunderous.
"We are predators. This is our nature, our purpose. It's carved into our souls."
Suddenlyâpressure.
Unimaginable weight crushed them all. Both Monarchs and Rulers fell to their knees, unable to move even with their full authority burning. Their bodies shook, their souls trembled.
For the first time in countless eons⊠they felt fear. Fear of their father. Fear of their Creator.
"Fools." The Absolute Being's voice was cold.
"This is not your purpose. You were poisoned. Manipulated. By the Iterimsâoutsiders, beings not of this universe. They toyed with your emotions, twisted your missions into war, fed you endless hatred. But they are gone. I erased them from existence. That is why your minds are clearing now."
The Monarchs' and Rulers' eyes widened. Ashborn, the First Ruler, even Andreasâall of them turned to each other in shock.
Then the Absolute Being raised his hand, and a planet appeared before their eyes.
On this planet, people were smiling while eating each other alive. One man, devoured, still smiled as he slaughtered a child in front of another. Chaos. Madness. Slaughter.
"Look," the Creator said.
"These are the Iorin, from Planet 00 Meta. Tell me, Rulersâwhat would you save here? They are beyond saving. That is why I created the Monarchs, to erase such life. For where there is light, there will always be darkness. This is balance. This is harmony. The Yin and the Yang."
The Ruler of Justice stood, trembling, anger flashing in his eyes.
"But among themâthere is compassion! There is love! Sacrifice! You cannot deny that, Creator!"
He realized too late what he had done. He dropped his head, shaking in fear.
But the Absolute Being's voice was calm.
"And that⊠is why you exist, Rulers. To guard those fragile sparks, to carry them to Heaven, to worlds where they may start anew. That is your duty. To protect the light hidden in the darkness."
Then his eyes shifted to the Monarchs. His voice grew deeper.
"And you. Monarchs. You were never meant to kill your brothers, nor the Rulers. You were meant to balance them. To keep the cycle whole."
The Monarch of Iron Body growled, his voice rough with anger, but it softened as truth sank in. Even Ashborn's eyes widened, his heart shaken. Both Monarchs and Rulers finally began to understand.
"Yes," the Absolute Being said, his tone softening for the first time.
"You were never destined to destroy each other. You were only manipulated. But no more."
A long silence fell. Both sides felt their chains of hate break.
Then Ashborn stepped forward.
"What about our brothers⊠the Rulers and Monarchs who already fell? They fought. They died. What about them?"
The Absolute Being smiled. For the first time, warmth spread across his face.
"Son⊠they did not die. Do you think I would ever let my children die? No. I reincarnated them. They now guard galaxiesâone Ruler and one Monarch for each. The Ruler saves, the Monarch erases. Together they balance."
Everyone's eyes widened. Even Ashborn froze, shocked.
The Absolute Being chuckled.
"Why are you so surprised? You are all my creations. My children. It is not wrong for me to call you that."
His rare smile calmed the raging hearts of both Monarchs and Rulers.
The Ruler of Patience spoke hesitantly.
"Then⊠what about Earth? It became our battlefield. A place of light and dark clashing endlessly."
The Creator's voice echoed across the chamber, carrying both fire and peace.
"The Earth finds life in dirt, and the darkness rests in the void. But both forgetâEarth is dirt without light, and void is silence without flame. You were meant to weep for creation, not tear it apart."
For the first time, both Rulers and Monarchs lowered their heads in unity. Their hearts, once filled with rage, now shared the same thought.
The Absolute Being's gaze swept over them, sharp and final.
"Now choose.
Continue to be slaves to your pride and desireâŠ
Or rise, together, as Guardians and Judges of my creation.
But know thisâif you ever raise your arms against each other againâŠ
I will unmake you all."
As the Absolute Being continued speaking, his voice echoed through the throne room.
"Now, the main topic," he said calmly. "Because of your endless battles, fighting each other like fools, the universe has taken heavy damage."
Hearing this, both the Monarchs and the Rulers lowered their heads in shame. Ashborn, leader of the Rulers, looked especially guilty. Even the Monarchs, who were always arrogant, stayed silent.
Then Antreas, one of the rulers, tried to speak. "Faâ" he stopped halfway, nervous. Then he corrected himself, "CreatorâŠ"
But the Absolute Being smiled. "You can call me father, my son."
Hearing that, Antreas let out a small sigh of relief. "Then⊠Father, can we use your Cup of Reincarnation? The one that can turn back timeâŠ"
The Absolute Being's eyes softened. "That cup can only send you ten years back. But if I will it, time itself can go back as far as needed. Howeverâ" he raised his hand, stopping themâ "you don't need to use it."
"Why, Father?" asked the Ruler of Destinny, his voice sharp with confusion.
The Absolute Being only smirked. He snapped his fingers.
In that instant, all the Monarchs and Rulers felt it. The universe itself was healingâwounds in space, broken worlds, shattered timelinesâall of it was being restored before their eyes.
They were shaken. None of them could even breathe for a second.
The Absolute Being looked at their stunned faces and chuckled. "What? Did you think I couldn't do this? I am the one who created you. These little gadgetsâthe Cup of Reincarnation, the weapons, the artifactsâthey're nothing more than toys I made for you. In case I wasn't around to fix things myself."
They froze. None of them truly knew the depth of his power. To them, he was already their almighty Creator. But even now, he hadn't revealed his true nature. That explanation was yet to come.
Then his voice turned heavy. "Your mother and I are disappointed in you."
The whole throne room went silent.
Everyone's thoughts froze on one thing.
Mother?
Hold up. Wait a minute. They all knew they had a Creator, their Father, the Absolute Being. But this was the first time they ever heard about⊠a Mother.
At the same moment, every single Ruler and Monarch thought the same thing:
Who⊠the hell is our mother?
Now then, while all this was happening, let's move toward heaven.
In the Seventh Heaven,
inside the throne room of GodâHe opened His eyes and chuckled.
"Being at two places at the same time is good⊠but for me, being everywhere at once is on another level. After all, I am omnipresent. Nothing escapes my sight. Even though I don't have eyes like humans, I can see everything. I'm not like my creationâbe it angel, dragon, or anything else. I am different."
From deep inside His soul, a soft and gentle voice spokeâ Elizabeth, His wife.
"Indeed, honey," she said warmly, "I think the time has come to send another prophet, right?"
God smiled. "Yes, my love. The time has come."
And then, His attention shiftedâdown to the earth of the Cardinal World, DxD.
There, the descendants of Shem (Sam), son of Noah, had spread across many lands. From Shem's bloodline would rise both Bani Ishmael and Bani Israel.
From Bani Ishmael would come the Arabs.
From Bani Israel would come the children of Israel.
But for now, part of Shem's line had formed tribes in Arabiaâaround the Yemen deserts. These people were skilled in carpentry and building houses. But their society was dark.
Strength meant everything. Weakness was seen as shame. And women⊠women suffered the most. They were treated as nothing more than tools for breeding. A father could use his own daughter to bear children. Brothers would share wives. Even sisters were forced to serve their own brothers. Women were seen as objects, not humans.
And then came their worship of false gods.
They followed the teachings of Paul and bowed before idols like Baad, Sua, Yaghuth, Yahyuk, and Nasr.
But above all, three idols became the most feared and powerful:
Sada â a massive idol, towering over all others.
Samud â worshipped as a spirit of judgment.
Herak â a god of protection and strength.
They built shrines for them, offered sacrifices, and even killed newborn girlsâoffering them as gifts for blessings.
Watching this corruption, Almighty God's Voice hardened.
"It is time once again. I will send another prophet⊠Hud. He will guide them back to the truth."
