That morning, the atmosphere in the inn room felt calmer than on previous days. After a long discussion the night before and a good night's sleep, all group members appeared refreshed. Catherine, who usually busied herself with planning, seemed more relaxed. Thomas was occupied checking his equipment, while Pierre assisted Virginia in organizing supplies. Bai Suzhen stood near the window, gazing outside with a serene expression.
"So, is everyone ready?" Bai Suzhen asked, turning toward them.
"Yes," Catherine replied firmly. "After a good sleep, I feel much more prepared to face whatever's out there."
"Good," Bai Suzhen nodded. "The Navigator has guided us to the forest located west of the city. Let's head out."
As they left the inn, they walked in an orderly formation. Catherine walked upfront with Bai Suzhen, while Virginia, Pierre, Elizabeth, and Thomas followed behind. Elizabeth, although a bit awkward, tried to stay close to Virginia, who appeared more composed.
