Everyone became stunned, not expecting to hear such praise from Lady Tilly. They were already aware that she only auctions off things with value.
She wouldn't lie to sell something that had no value. So they could tell the painting was, as she said, something valuable.
Since that was the case, it made them wonder just who could create something this powerful.
