The rest were escorted back a few hours after the exams ended. Some left with tears rolling down their faces.
The few who came close to entering the sect pleaded severely, but against someone like Elder Mikko, not even the emperor would have been allowed to enter.
In the end, they can only go and come back three years later.
Of course, if new geniuses emerged in the various worlds linked to the sect three years from now, then their chances of coming back to try again would be next to none, since the sect would give priority to the new geniuses over the old ones.
